Regatta Bay Golf & Yacht Club

I have played Regatta before but had been 12 yrs ago. The course had received about 4 inches of rain in past 48 hours. The range was closed but they could have easily moved us to hitting off the mats. The starter wasn’t very friendly and first thing he said was I might should take a lesson from the guy hitting chip shots on the practice green. Then he complained that groups were taking too long on the first box. Well, probably most people hitting two drives off of one since you didn’t let us warm up off of the mats !! Very disappointing. Prob won’t be back.

First middle of the day tee time since winter. Absolutely beautiful out. And the course was a pleasure to play.

It’s always a pleasure to play, Each hole presents a different challenge with decisions to make on how you are going to attack each hole. Conditions were impeccable. The greens were the best I’ve seen from any course in the area the last few months.

Course was in good shape. The guys outside collecting tee times were friendly and enjoyable to talk too. Went on Fathers Day and brought my son. Had to pay $45 just for him to ride “as a spectator fee”. Seemed as if trying to get as many people as they could with tee times. Had 3 groups on each hole the entire round. Beautiful course but won’t be back for the amount I paid.

Ok I think Regatta Bay is the best course in the area. With that said I am surprised that they didn’t close the course yesterday during dangerous weather conditions with lightning strikes all around. The whole course was cart path only and so wet you were squishing water with every step and basically hitting mud shots all day from every where except when the ball was off the tee.

Could not have been a better day playing with my son and grandson who live in the UK. Hope to be back when they visit next year.

Enjoyed my 18. Greens were a bit Sandy but course was in great shape overall. Lots of fun.

It was a humid day and we would have appreciated towels in the carts. We've played this course twice in the last month and I would rate it top three in the Destin area.

Regatta bay is the best course in destin and awesome layout

We played the Blue tees but found them back near the tips for our round (probably played 6600). We had 2x par 4s which played 450 into the wind, so that was brutal. The tee boxes were in rough shape but fairways and greens were nice. For the GolfNow Hot Deal, it was a great deal at $100.

Course is a beautiful North Florida Bermuda course. Has some tough pin placements, but is attackable due to slowish greens.

Best course in Destin! Greens were a 10 compared to the other courses I played same weekend. Nice layout. Little pricey but if you want to play on a well taken care of course in Destin this is it.

Regatta Bay is in great condition.Fairways are lush. Greens are fast and have subtle breaks. It is a really great test of golf. I would definitely play this course again!

Pace of play was great. Course is hard and 90-100 score golfers should play from Gold tees. We played front from white and back from gold. Gold were the correct tees for our skill level. Also no DFW golf bros blasting music and hammer drunk. Worth the money to avoid that.
