Could be a beautiful, challenging course if maintained.
This was probably once a beautiful course but has fallen into disrepair. Challenging holes, water hazards on maybe 12-14 holes. But currently, the fairways are dry and bare in many places, tee boxes rough, bunkers have about 1/2 inch of sand, lots of "ground under repair" but it looks like no one is working on it.
The greens were in moderately good shape, however, and the off peak price of $29 makes it still worth playing.
Good midweek deal
We enjoy playing the course and are generally able to tee off immediately. Only downside is that recently when our threesome tees off it is immediately followed by several singles or twosomes and it takes a while to sort it all out and let them through. Nonetheless, we always have a good time here.
Hit the greens or pay the price.
Due to the design of the course and the surrounding flood plain, most all of the greens are built up and require an accurate approach shot that holds the surface of the putting area. Any misdirected shots tend to ricochet off at an acute angle and require a multitude of lobs, pitches or bump and run shots that test your short game. My handicap was at its lowest when I played this course over 40 times in one year. Accuracy over distance, greens in regulation over anything else will reward you with a low score.

course is well maintained. fairways and greens in excellent condition. always play in less than 4 hours.
The course is in horrible shape and needs a lot of attention.
The course is in need of a lot of work with many places over watered and no grass growing due to the over watering and poor drainage.
Great layout, poor condition.
Always challenging and mostly always in fair to poor condition. When there are many areas on the fairways that are hard pan and there is no sign of even an attempt to fix it....
where's the Marshall
I played with 3 ladies and the foursome behind us were jerks
they were constantly hitting onto us
I was nearly hit twice
never a Marshall in sight and never communicating with the various groups
