Good value but it's still recovering from flooding
Walked/carried on this course and that was fine. Layout is ok with some good variety. Trees come into play in some awkward spots that aren't apparent from the tees. Greens were in great shape, although a but spongy. Receptive to balls in the air but putts rolled true and pretty fast. Tee boxes were in pretty good shape. The fairways were good in some places, ok in others and unplayable in a few spots as the course is still recovering from being underwater. The par 3s were challenging and there's a lot of water in play. The range was rough but the putting green was good. Overall, good value and you can tell that they are putting effort into fixing it up.
Not bad, but not good
Paid full price to play the back nine twice due to a tournament. Course was under construction on some holes but the greens were decent
Not bad for what you get
Course is ok and seems getting better. Hole 9 is being fixed so it’s a 100 yrd par 3 now. Some rough areas all around. Greens were surprisingly good and had some true putts. Great course if in a slump and want to beat the ball around to feel better. Staff is awesome and very friendly.
Poor management
I live in Napa and have played this course many times. In recent years some of the fairways are atrocious. One is always bare dirt. Another one is constant marshland. The T is continuously being moved. It's now a chip (on a par 4). Some of the fairways were mowed and the grass clippings are left in rows large enough to hide balls on the fairways
It now has an event center that seems to be more important. And the cost to play continues to rise.
the course is badly maintained
the course is in a bad condition than ever, with wild grass everywhere, almost no maintenance.
22 holes
Some of the holes are close so the current course layout gives you about 22 holes to play and it was good conditions on the greens. Fairways were medium and staff friendliness was very high and good.
Golf Now gives no disclaimer
So disappointing. Golf Now gave no indication holes were underwater. Only 11 out of 18 holes could be played. What a waste of money
Greens Are Perfect
You get what you pay for. This time year can be anything depending on weather. The colors of the course are beautiful.
And the greens were perfect yesterday. Best I’ve seen in 25 years.
I didn’t hit the sand traps but they looked fine. Also the tee boxes were very good.
Any complaints are not warranted. Great Muni with lots of character.
I still say make 14-15 middle a lateral hazzard though. May as well just let the river run Thru it…
