About
The Crooked Cat Course is one of two 18-hole regulation courses at the Orange County National Golf Center and Lodge. The facility is also home to a nine-hole executive course. The Crooked Cat Course is a challenge with dramatic elevation changes and rolling fairways that are framed with mounding. The golf course has a links-style design with large, contoured greens and wide landing areas. Water hazards and several bunkers come into play throughout. There are also trees and native heather present on the course for a naturally beautiful atmosphere. Orange County National's Crooked Cat Course is favored among low handicappers due to its length and difficulty.

Great conditions!
Course was dry 3 days after the 4” of rain. Very impressive! The greens were the highlight. They ran pretty fast and true.

One minor issue: the flight of three teenagers in front of us was more interested in driving the golfkarton then golf.
I would recommendation this course if you are in the Orlando area.

Greens were glass

Outstanding for many years
I tried to play Orange County national crooked cat each time we come down to Florida from Tennessee. I’ve been playing it for about 15 years and have always enjoyed the impeccable conditions and challenging layout.
The Fairways provide
generous landing area in the grains, have some, but not a great deal of slope.

The Cat
Crooked Cat did not disappoint by any means. The course was in great shape overall. The only negative was the fact that they had a junior tournament. Our last 5 holes were incredibly slow due to the kids walking the course in front of us along with the entourage watching them.
If they would have told us we would have played Panther Lake or another course on this date.

Un bijou
Un peu plus facile que le Panther Lake pour les dames mais les trappes de sable demeurent un enjeu constant. Le parcours est en parfaite condition. Ce n’est que du pur bonheur.

Course Conditions Were Excellent
We had the first tee time so pace of play wasn't an issue. We were warned about the course conditions but they were very, very good. Greens rolled true and everything was extremely well maintained. No Complaint, will be back.

Course was Fabulous
Course is in fabulous condition. Greens rolled true. Rough appeared to have been overseeded, long but not thick. Ranger kept everyone moving. Can't wait to play there again.

Shame on you Golf Now
Rarely do I come down hard unless I feel it's deserved. Never during the booking phase did Golf Now state cart path only due to over seeding . I was OK with cart path only, not with trying to find my ball in the fairway every time me and my group hit. I felt I overpaid due to the conditions and being from Canada the premium on the US dollar I paid to play leaves a bad taste in my mouth. My money would have been better on another GolfNow course. You need to be more honest. That being said If you say your sorry we may be able to salvage our relationship.

Course in terrible shape
The grass in the tee boxes was so long you had to hit through it on your drive. It’s never been like this so not sure what’s up. The fairways were equally as bad. Countless shots hit right down the middle were lost because we couldn’t find our ball in the tall fairway grass. Definitely not worth $100 per person will not be playing here again or recommending to anyone. Disappointing course

Crooked Cat in November
This is an excellent golf course. It had the best greens of the five courses we played. Although there had been a lot of rain, the course was in great shape. The over-seeded rye made it a bit more challenging, but overall very very good.

Veryyy Disappointing
Was very excited to play here after watching the LIV event here in the spring. The course today was in the worst condition of any course I’ve ever played (I play a lotttt of golf). The tees and fairways were legitimately 4-5inches long. You could not tell where the rough was because the whole course was rough. It was cart path only because of overseeding and they clearly haven’t used a mower in weeks. I understand overseeding etc but this was ridiculously bad maintenance. I think the worst part was the pro shop guys and the starter (who were very nice) never mentioned anything about the poor conditions before we went out.
We apologize for the poor conditions of the course during your visit. We understand your disappointment and will address the maintenance issues to ensure a better experience for our guests in the future. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
No warning for cart path only!
Course was in great shape and pace of play was excellent. Fantastic practice area also. Biggest issue was no warning for cart path only. Booked on line and no notice, checked in no mention and none told us when we received our cart. Made for a slow round having to carry multiple clubs to each shot.
