*****Very Poor Course Conditions*****
Charged us full price for the round. We tee’d off at 7:30am. Once we began to play it was apparent that the GREENS were not rolled. They were very wet and to make things worse there were mud spots all over them. Once the ball stopped after the putt it was covered in mud. About 90% of the TEE BOXES were dirt and no grass at all. Very difficult to play from the Blues. Some of the FAIRWAYS were not mowed and contained random potholes throughout. There were dead trees and branches as well which should have been cleared out. Lots of weeds around the green collars. They offered us vouchers for another round but I refuse to play at this course even if it’s free. I asked for a full refund and still waiting.
Early morning disappointment
Tee boxes highest need of repair. Some just dirt, some so uneven had to look hard for ball placement. Greens were inconsistent. Bunkers hard as cement. Poor value. Positives include close parking, beverage cart, and super nice pro shop help.
Good course.
Good play and course. Great value. Pretty good conditions. Greens not great but not bad. Fun little course to play. Would play again
Good Time
Fairways were good, not super great but good.
Greens were good. A couple of greens had problem spots but no weeds. All in all, good greens.
Pebble Creek
I’m sure course will be better when not in middle of rainy season. Greens good but fairways and roughs really need cutting. Some very wet, balls plugged, hard to find even on fairway. Zero roll, Clear course probably to mushy to get mowers out, I assume. I will try again dry season
A Return trip
I have to say, Pebble Creek has improved every month. A great track when it''s dry. Looking forward to it mid season conditions.
Really wet!
Course was soaking wet due to daily rains in the area. Over five hour round due to cart path only. Lost balls that plugged in the fairways. I’d wait till the dry season (December thru April) to play this course
Always Enjoy The Course
My son and I enjoyed a perfect day to golf, especially after all the rains kept us from going. Greens were in good shape as were the fairways. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and and appreciative. The grounds crew is always busy working on the course. A very nice course to play with good value.
Greens bad
Course is in fair condition greens were bad not much grass.I played this course 6 years ago it was very good then played 2 months ago still in decent shape but not now. It seems to have gone the way of many courses from very good then let go to just playable .
Greens in terrible shape
I can’t recommend golfing here right now. The greens were basically mud pits from all of the rain and a lot of the tee areas had no grass. There are other courses in this area in much better condition, even after all the rain.
Thank you for your review. I am sorry that the greens and tee boxes were not up to your standards. Right after we aerified the greens, we were hit with extremely heavy rains which caused some root damage and delayed healing time.
Since then, the greens have dried out and healed up, and are in much better shape than when you last played. I would like to invite you back out to play and see the improvements. Please contact me at bcuddy@ace-golf.com. Thanks -- BC
Not as good as in the past!
I was very disappointed on the condition of the course. From the tee to the green Pebble was the worst condition I ever seen it. I play here every 2 to 3 months a year and I’m taken it off my list! Currently hold on to ur money and play somewhere else!
Sad golfer!
I visit the course again and I was please of all the work they have put into it. It’s back on my list to play weekly!
The staff was very friendly and they made sure the course was in better conditions.
Thank you for the review, and sorry that the course did not meet your expectations. Right after we aerified the greens, we were hit with relentless rains that caused root damage and delayed the healing process. Since then, the greens have dried out and healed, and the course is in much better conditions than the last time you played. I would like to invite you back out and see the improvements for yourself. Please email me at bcuddy@ace-golf.com.
Thanks, BC
Not in great, or even good, shape!
I thought I would never say the words Pebble Creek and dry in the same sentence but the course is pretty much dried up. The course has gone from being overly wet and under water to completely dried out. Pace of play was great cause there’s no one playing there. Maybe the fact that they’ve aerated and sanded the greens recently, is keeping people away also. By the way, GolfNow makes no mention of an Aeration warning on their site. Tee boxes were also in very poor condition, with little grass to hit off of, mainly dirt. Overall, quite a disappointing round of golf on what was one of my favorite courses in the New Tampa/Wesley Chapel area. Maybe with a little rain in the forecast this week, things will begin to green up and grow again and fill in the ponds and water areas.
Needs a ton of work
Course is in very bad shape. I use to like playing here. I only played 10 holes and left cause of how bad the course is. Of course the greens were getting airified but they didn’t fill the holes with sand. They were literally huge holes. They even had holes all around the greens. Was very odd. Like someone didn’t know what they were doing. Tee boxes need so much work. Fairways were just ok. Sad part is I even had a hot deal for 20$ with a 10$ off coupon and still left. I didn’t care about losing 10$. If I had paid more I would of talked to a manager.
Great Course
Great course as to layout and difficulty. Challenging at some spots but forgiving in other areas. Green in decent shape, a couple need work but overall great. Fairways were great
