Excellent course, Must play it
played this course several times, greens have minor flaws nothing to really complain about. Very well kept course, great staff.. Every hole is unique and offers a challenge. Great for a seasoned player or a weekend warrior and you will not be disappointed.
Well kept fairways, all the greens seemed to slope towards the fairway which gives you a great opportunity to really spin that ball and make it pull back on the greens.
One of my favorite courses in this area and I highly recommend it
Great conditions but poor pace of play.
6 hours for 18 holes is just too much, even for a Sunday afternoon.
u000005760969,

PC #1 asset, the staff. Oh yeah, very nice layout too.
Hanging moss and large trees in some holes make you feel you are in a plantation somewhere in South Carolina. Nice shades along the way as the summer sun is making it's grand entrance Florida style. HOT. But while under the protection of the foliage, the breeze cools you down plenty.
The Back 9 will definitely test you starting right at the 10th hole. If you are short, trees get in the way. Too long will get you off the fairway and very possibly in a line of trees. Put your driver away on this hole as it's a 90° dog leg left and you need to place your tee shot just right to have a good angle.
Then comes 13 where you need to lay up to avoid the water that will eat up your ball right before the green.
As if that wasn't enough, 14 is almost a U turn, even tighter than 10 and narrower. After surviving these holes, I approached the 18 green with a 187 yard shot to the middle of the green with what seem like a 165+ yard shot required to clear water. Ball in the air heading straight to the flag, peanut gallery cheering, getting fist pumps ready, and then clunk!!!! the sharp sound of the ball hitting the top of the wood contention wall, up in the air and into the mud below. "Some strange magnetic force pulled it down last minute" I heard someone say. I walked to the muck monster to see that there were not less than 15 balls at simple eyesight, including mine. Not a terrible round but knowing the course a little bit better now, I can't wait to go back and possible make different club choices in some of the holes.
Then decided to make an event of the visit and enjoy the Irish restaurant/bar. Great food, great beer and outstanding service. Wouldn't mind going back just to visit the restaurant. Walked out to the parking lot thinking and then telling my partner, we're making this our place. It really seems everyone there is happy to be there. Including the guests.
Now, on the flip side, tee boxes are in real bad shape. That doesn't bother me too much as for the most part, the ball is on a tee anyway. But the greens do need plenty of TLC and bring them back before they get any worse. They are playable but not great.
Albert8543935,

Enjoyed our round.
Coarse was in good shape, not crowded. Pace was good. Cart girl was friendly, Enjoyed our round. When we booked it said GPS was included, found one cart with GPS and it worked when it wanted.

Cart girl caught a bass!
Our foursome played in 4 hours, and the course was in good shape other than the greens being a bit bumpy. Nothing terrible, but not as smooth as you'd like. Pin positions were definitely challenging today. The cart girl was very friendly, and showed us a photo on her phone of about a 5-6 lb bass she caught in one cast right before coming up to us in her beverage cart. We bought our round as a Hot Deal on Golf Now, and played for less than $20 all-in. Saw a pool home on the course for sale for $250k, which was surprising. Fun day.
tresfenton,

Play it straight
A fun course that forces you to play straight shots through narrow shoots ,with water hazards on left and right sides of the fairways there is ample room for you to land your ball and make shots at front ,center or back pin positions,, you do have tricky bunkers to navigate but does play Open to the front of the greens so makes it fair for any golfer level Lots of fun lots of good views and nice course.
Will5921900,

Play This Course
Very nice course layout with several trying holes, but otherwise very fair, even for limited golfers like myself. Fairways and greens in very good condition, but several tee boxes need replenishment work. Staff (especially Jeff the manager) is very friendly and accommodating, and workers on the course are considerate, despite always being busy. Cart girl very friendly as well. It is always enjoyable to play here, as this is my favorite course in the local area.
uHKKL3498HK,

Another great golf day!
Having not previously played Pebble Creek, we didn't know what to expect. I located close to I-75, so it was easy to get there. The course layout was nice and the area is very quiet. We saw some gators along the way! Their restaurant, Mulligan's, was great... featuring outdoor seating in a covered area with ceiling fans and big screen TVs. Looking forward to
returning to play there again!
A Birthday Round
Great layout, with course in good shape. Enjoyed the variety of holes. Greens were well maintained, ball rolled true, and speed was consistent hole-to-hole.
Nice course
We enjoyed our round at Pebble Creek. There were no delays and the course was in pretty good shape especially considering the lack of rain. The course layout was challenging. We plan on playing the course again.
We stopped at the Irish Pub attached to the course and had a beer and burger. Both were excellent.
good value
pleasant outing at a moderate to difficult course in good condition. Would play again.
poor pace of play
Only complaint is poor pace of play. 5 hrs 20 minutes for a round of golf is terrible. No rangers , two five some allowed. And three two some playing in front not letting groups through or pairing up... Awful.
Nice course
Greens and the overall condition are very good
Love the layout
Refreshing pace of play
It was nice to see people being paired together ,we played in 3 1/2 hours compared to 4 1/2 to 5 hours at some other local courses.
Starter very aware, nice and professional
Had a great time...was matched up with 3 other great guys...we had a blast. The course started out slow but after 11 holes the pace picked up. First few greens were slow then several were flat and quick, so inconsistent. Fairways were in nice shape. I used my driver maybe 5 times, the rest were short 3 or 5 wood drives. No driving range to practice, but there were nets to warm up. Small putting green...speed didn't match course greens. Had very nice turkey sandwich that was reasonably priced...bar staff very nice. Were not enough carts so had to wait for golfers to complete their round...busy day. Will definitely go back and play.
Pebble Creek was a Pleasure
Pebble Creek was alot of fun!
The clubhouse currently has really good deals on all apparel which was nice. After playing 18 the previous day in this Florida sun, we bought a few hats to help with that. I picked up a brand new fitted Titleist hat for only $18.
The course is maintained very nicely. We had to wait about 30 mins to tee off but once we got started the pace was fine. This course is difficult, but mostly due to the layout of water and bunkers. The course itself is not all that difficult if you can hit it straight!
Probably even more then the golf, was the abundant wildlife on almost every hole. We saw a new type of bird, or other animal pretty much continually.
Afterwards, the Pub area serves great food and is a good place to wind down and discuss the round or business.
Pebble Creek
The course was in good condition. It wasn't the best of days, a lot of strong wind, but the sun was shining. Over all it was an enjoyable day.
Florida Charm
This course offers you a chance to go back in time and enjoy a true representation of old Florida golf.
beware of fivesomes
keep the ball in the fairway or it can be very difficult to find the ball in the second cut..Greens were in good shape for the most part but a little slow.one teebox was bad but seventeen were good.the sand traps were some of the best I have seen, nice fluffy sand.the fairways were good.. the food and clubhouse were wonderful. pace of play was slow due to a fivesome who jumped in front of us on the back nine. g.p.s. on cart a nice touch..
Surprisingly tough course
Not an extremely lengthy course and conditions were nice but I had a hard time playing well here. A lot of water to deal with and most holes bent right or left. I really enjoyed the course. Fairways were good. Greens in nice shape though a bit thin in spots. But they held shots and rolled true. While a bit far from my home, I will come out and play here again. While rough is not particularly deep, it is tough to hit from and sometimes even find your ball. Twice I was within a few feet of mine and didn't see it.
