Rough greens
Played several weeks ago and found the greens were puttable. Today's round was dissapointing due to the bumpy and patchy greens. Although aerated a week ago, there were many holes devoid of dressing which made putting erratic. Tee areas were also in need of attention.
Staff were very friendly and said that additional top dressing was planned for this week. Still a friendly course, but not in as good shape as before. Give it some time.
Not a good day.
Greens had recently been punched within an inch of their life.
Tee boxes were in poor condition.
Pace of play was very slow on front nine.
After making the turn, we found three groups lined up at the 10th tee that had apparently stopped for lunch. They acted surprised and annoyed when I asked where they had come from.
Got half my greens fee back and left. Won't be back.
A course like this needs to have a starter and a marshal.
At least the weather was good
Only nine holes were open and the remaining nine holes was packed. They shouldn't have let me go out as a single as all I did was wait.
Always a Good day at Pebble
We play around and always make a point of hitting Pebble....nice track.
Nice but challenging for the average golfer.
Always enjoying playing here at Pebble Creek. A good length for the average player. It can be challenging on many of the holes.
Nice round of golf
Everything was very nice with the exception of the starter which was not pleasant at all.
Nice hole diveristy
Front nine greens were great but back nine greens were burned and like putting on hard wood floors. Really ruined the experience (not to mention my score)
excellent
The Course was in good Shape no Complaints I definitely go back an play here
Nice course for the value
A little water comes into play, fun course, but not too challenging, great staff. Went on Easter after sunrise service, so it was fairly quiet. We will play again at that price!
Slow Greens, Slow Play, goes downhilll from there.
Nicely greeted by staff. Not sure Golfnow.com has player skill, but the course put a single advanced player with a 3-some who couln't collectively fly the ball over 100 yards in the air with all three shots.
Nice folks, but if you want a good round of golf, pass.
I walked off after 9-holes - greens are slow and bumpy, nothing about this course separates it from a goat ranch.
If you don't play a lot and want a putt-putt like experience, this is not a bad place.
but if you are intermediate and above, pass.
Oh, and icing on the cake. No driving range. They sold the land for apartments, so while you cannot warm up other than a few cages by the clubhouse (better facilities in my back yard), you do get to enjoy the sound of screaming kids on a few of the holes.
PASS!!!
Small Elevated Greens
The overall condition of the course was very good. An excellent variety of holes where driving accuracy and course management is a must. Greens are very small, elevated and very fast. Many have extreme undulations. Carts with GPS is a nice feature. Staff are friendly and helpful. If you want a challenging but quality course this is it.
Lot of players
Course was packed, really packed. Love the course though.
Too slow.
No offend but too many senior players and the pace was too slow, had to wait 5-10 minutes on each hole, five hours for 18 holes.
No Ranger
This is a nice layout course, unfortunately for us the group in front of us could not keep up with the two groups of WALKERS in front of them. Their attitude was to stay ahead of the group behind and not behind the group ahead. All together a very frustrating round! If there had been a ranger it might have helped.
Also the cart girl stopped to serve the group in front alongside a par 3 after the group had finished. This stopped us from teeing off, they also stopped for a chat!!!!! Although I would recommend the course I would advise that you take lots of drinks and food, something to do whilst you wait.
thus course yet challenging a fun one
Fairways were nice, greens rolling good, course was nice a manicured. Cart includes free GPS. Would recommend this course! The pace of play was average. Water stations on many holes along with cart girl. Fun outing all together! Some where to go on a beautiful day with warm weather and a nice breeze. Overall I rate this course a 4/5
Great Course with a Great Price
It's like the title says, this course is very well maintained. They do a great job and it is one of my favorite courses to play. Greens are great, the bunkers are fluffy, not packed and the fairways are just perfect. The price is great not too mention every cart has gps. Do your self a favor and play Pebble Creek!
Pebble Creek
The course was in good shape off the tees and the fairways. A few of the greens had some crab grass growing in. The pace of play was a bit on the slow side. I would play again if I was in the area but would not make a special trip. I'm new to the area and plan to check out other courses around there but I wouldn't protest if someone wanted to play there.
Greens! Substandard
Course is great! Because they allow walking for the members, play was slow! The most noticeable problem is the fact that divots on the greens were consistently not repaired! Terrible!!
