Arthur Hills designed the Padre Course at Camelback Golf Club to deliver a fun round that's tough to forget. Trees tower, landforms show subtly, and bunkers improve your golf skills. The par-72 golf course measures 6,903 yards, and has gained its renown by offering a design that requires strategy.
A round of golf on the Padre Course at the Camelback Golf Club kicks off on the par-4 first hole, which measures 446 yards from the black tees. Things get long on the fifth hole, a par 5 that comes in at 553 yards from the black tees, one of four 500-plus-yard holes. The 18th hole is one of these: It's 547 yards from the black tee to the post-round celebration.
After your round on the Padre Course at Camelback Golf Club, head to the Golf Grill, serving U.S. cuisine and a fancy Sunday brunch in the style of Southwestern country clubs. There's also a luxury lounge where you can spend winters on the patio by the fireplace.

Sister Course to Ambiente
I have reviewed this course before. Padre is the milder, more parkland-style course to the toughe, links-style Ambiente at Camelback Golf Club. It is in decent shape for a nice round of golf.
Excellent Course
My son and I really enjoyed the Padre Course. Pace of play was excellent given it was extremely hot and very few golfers were on the course. Fairways and greens were in excellent condition. Got a great price with a Hot Deal. Would definitely play here again.

Great day on the course. great cart lady, timely off tee, cold water bottles in cooler on cart. didn't even have to ask.

It's a well run quality course
Second time on this track, remembered a few things to help the scoring. Tees and fairways were in good shape. Bunkers had sand in them, not the dirt that I have seen a lot of lately. Greens had recovered nicely from the aerating. Staff was all over and friendly and the beverage cart guy was seen 3-4 times. Yep it was very warm out there but a fine day on a nice course.
top notch course
Padre course conditions were excellent for the summer. The greens were almost back to normal after being punched over 2 weeks ago. It was not an issue. Got a good roll putting. We started at noon, and it was a quick 3 hour round. It was nice to see the beverage cart come around about 3 times on a very hot day.
Value for Money
Course was in very good shape for mid-Summer. Greens hadn’t quite recovered from aeration but were close. Fairways were grasses than many other courses in the area.
Excellent greens and fairways
Played the Padre, best greens I've played on all summer. Quick. The course is in very good overall shape and offers an excellent track. Staff is always professional and I felt safe. Both courses are enjoyable and plenty challenging without being overly difficult.
Value
Love this course but Padre was not in good condition and they should not be charging $80 a round.
2nd Time Around
My second time playing the Padre and it was a lot of fun. Enjoyed the couple I was playing with and that makes for a good round. Course is starting to get into "summer" condition...greens were firm and fast. Lots of different types of shots and that is always fun. Will be back again.
