Enjoyed our round at the Founders course . Nice layout, very fair, wide fairways, well designed par 3s and reachable Par 5's. A few of the greens were super bumpy and most of the bunkers lacked sand. This caused a lot of bladed shots from everyone in the group.We enjoyed playing a course that had minimum houses staring at us and the on course service was really great...great hot dogs. Range was really great, although the blasting music was really irritating for most of us. Couldn't wait to get away to the quiet first tee. Nice pro shop and very professional outside help. Even the rangers had a sense to be helpful and not full of themselves like most courses. Overall, I'd return if it were a little closer to North PHX. 90 mile round trip was a little far with similar courses in the Valley. We played for $135 which is significantly less in February than other similar courses in the area.

Personally thought that the greens were a little bit rough. Could have been from possibly a recent treating. Beautiful course to play.

Have played this course several times. This last round was the first time this winter. Have always enjoyed playing the course, but this last round was slow and the greens were the worst we've played here in the valley this winter. Our round was an over 5 hour round. We waited every hole. Ranger did come around and told us there were no gaps in the play. The fairways were soft and wet. Appeared the staff had put down some chemical and watered it in. For the price we paid, one would reasonably expect decent greens. The greens were an odd mixture of grainy and splochy patches of grass that resulted in the bumpy slow putts. Not at all what we expected for the price we paid for the round. Typically play this course several times during our winter stay, but doubt we will return this winter. Too expensive for the course conditions and pace of play. After the round, the cart attendant asked how the round went. Told him about the pace of play and his comment was there was a twosome that was holding up the course. No idea of when they teed off. When were on the 15th hole, the group behind us quit because of the slow play. Maybe they are members or had a schedule to keep. 5 hour plus round is not acceptable.

We had a great time., the course was good tee to green. The greens were very bumpy, which made scoring difficult. The course is laid out well, with no hidden hazards. One blind tee shot, but for the most part the holes were all laid out and visible from the tees. I would certainly play here again.

Great layout with great scenery and lots of tee options for everyone.

Have played the Founder’s Course many times over the years. Great course and staff, but the playing experience is not as good as it used to be because the pace of play is getting too slow with no sight of on course marshaling herding the chops along.

Starter should have each player acknowledge a pace of play sign posted at the 1st and 10th tee. Sign should list ways to save time and be ready golf.

This course has a top notch layout. The tees, fairways and bunkers were in swear shape as per usual. Greens unfortunately we're bumpy after the overseed, making it difficult to gage the speed and direction of putts.

Verrado staff were great. When we arrived there was a steady drizzle and mid 50s temps with more rain in the forecast. Head Pro Nick was a perfect gentleman and understood the issue and graciously allowed us to cancel our time.

The real issue was the ensuing battle of getting a refund from GOLF NOW and there unreasonable approach to what is deemed a rainout. Having to waste 20-30 minutes of my time arguing with them to secure a refund.

So I give VERY high marks to the staff at Verrado and disgusting review of Golf Now.

To anyone reading this BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN USING GOLF NOW as they are callous to real life situations as it relates to acceptable golf weather
