Verrado Golf Club - Founders Course

We were greeted upon arrival and offered help to carry our bags which I immediately declined. As the gentleman continued to request my bag I continued to tell him that we would carry our own. He then grabs my hsbands that were sitting next to me telling me that it was his job.

I stated strongly again that I am immune compromised and will take care of our bags but he continued to strap my husbands onto the cart!!

I do not inderstand why carts arent available for an individual not living in a sMe home thus potentially spreading the virus!!

We have golfed Verrado for yrs and todays experience has hurt!!

Great hot Arizona afternoon. Too hot for my wife, she only played 5 or 6 holes. Seems to play longer than the scorecard. I had a very good day off the tee, but still hit a lot of woods and hybrids to the greens. The greens seem to get faster as the round went, but rolled true.

The back 9 started with me following a group playing a scramble. I waited on them for 4 holes, and while they looking for their in the brush (again), I skipped a hole and went by.

We ate a great lunch after the round. Everyone seemed pleased to be back to work. They take precautions to avoid the spread of viruses off and on the course.

tough desert course. hit the ball down the middle or the desert comes in play. traps need work, hardpan, and greens were slower than expected.

Beautiful course with a friendly staff and adventurous layout. Desert surrounding makes this course optically challenging, but still a fun time with some friends. The staff and amenities were superb. Would recommend 10/10

Firstly how about trying to smile or at least make some effort in communicate in a friendly manner with people that play, first impressions last.

The counter guy must hate his job, it wasn’t a pleasant experience what so ever.

On course, Wendy the cart lady was awesome, so friendly and helpful.

Maybe she should work in the pro shop!!!!!

The course itself was fun to play, greens and bunkers in great condition plus the fairways were perfect.

Sorry only gave it three stars as the start of the experience which is key made the round feel like, well I can’t put the word in I want.

Course was great staff was friendly pace was perfect. Will be back again and again

Played Verrado Founders course yesterday. Course was in above average condition for this time of year. Some fairways had burned out spots, but overall the course is in very good condition. Greens were quick and held well. Course is challenging for every level of golfer's ability with numerous tee boxes to fit every handicap level. Pace of play was less than 4 hours despite a steady flow of golfers. Beautiful scenery awaits you on most holes. Overall a fun, challenging course that is definitely worth the current green fees.

Excellent time playing this course, some holes very tough, greens very challenging.

Tough course when windy as it was today. Tees starting to dry out. Greens slow but with hot weather, 99° its normal. Very friendly staff at course and restaurant. Beautiful views and some great holes.

This course is a great track.

The greens were slightly slower than they looked but ran true. Tees and fairways in great shape.

I was in the sand six times , played out well with : for 6 in par. So the traps were in good shape too.

I struggled of the tee all day and came away from the white tees with an 85.

I was very happy with my play that was enhanced by the overall good shape of the course.

I’ll be back here again for sure.

I’m a female with a 12 handicap. I enjoyed the course. Not to tight just keep ball in the middle and you will be fine. Greens were a little slower than what I’m use to. Would play again

I only play this course in the summer. Can’t beat their price. Played today (5/20) and the course is in great shape. The bunkers had wet sand, packed a bit too hard but otherwise, the course played great. I’ll be back several more times this summer.

Great golf course! Desert golf with beautiful views. Course in great shape!

I really like this course and is one of my favorites but the service in the pro shop is not the best. I understand when are in a pandemic but I felt like I was bothering them when I ent inside. I will still continue to play here because I like it so much but I was a little disappointed today.

2 great courses, half hour from sky harbor, played both courses several times in the last 2 weeks. Both courses are in fantastic shape. Staff gets it. Top notch service.

Course looked and felt like it needed to be manicured. Weeds on tee boxes, dead rotting snake in tunnel from 1st hole to 2nd hole. Just feels like there is no love or attention to detail at this course

Great views, great conditions, long and winding track with interesting shorter holes that are all uphill. Hole 13 is a difficult 276 yard par four with an extremely steep false front and steep back sloping middle to back. Only hole that felt like a gimmick. You should play this Foundes course. Overall a compelling track.

The staff / bag drop very rude. No greeting except: tee time??!! Gloves on but no carrying aid, no spray, no scorecard on the car, just no interest.
