Verrado Golf Club - Founders Course

Course has many challenging holes, fairways can be wide, but narrow in places so be careful off the tee. Excellent shape, greens still a little slower than expected but roll true. Take at least a dozen balls if you are erratic off the tee.

Nice course from any tee box. Silvers were quite challenging. Service was outstanding. Paired with Rick. Great guy and great golfer

Great golf course. One of the best in the valley. Worth the drive. Fairways were like hitting off a plush carpet. Can't wait to play it again

The greens left a little to be desired but overall they were better than average.

One of my favorite courses in the valley. However on this day we had to play the back nine twice which was ok. The issue I had on this day was the fairways were extremely wet and sloppy. The greens were the only bright spot all day as they where smooth and rolled true. I usually recommend this course but in it's current condition I would not.

Arrived at course to find out we were going to have to play back 9 twice as front nine was under repair. Bummer.

Great golf course layout. Have played here many times. The greens are currently in terrible condition. I wont play this course again this year. Hopefully the greens will be fixed a year from now. Try it next year.

I 've played here several times in the past. Yesterday was the first time since last late summer last year.

Currently, the "greens" (and I put that in quotes, because there wasn't much green on the greens) are beyond horrible. Most had extensive bare dirt patches. Our group decided that since there was no way to get a putt to track on line, we would all just card 2 putts once on and go to the next hole.

I usually love this course, and it has always been one of my favorites in the area. With it in such poor shape, I know I will not return for quite some time. When that day comes, if it still remains in the same condition, I will not go back again.

Bottom line? Avoid it for this summer at the very least.

Staff is snooty. Greens are usually good but they were a bit off. Beautiful course. Fix the staff. Fix the experience.

Very disappointing. Almost every green was brown and sandy. I won’t be back this summer. No warning from staff that they were either!

Apparently the course was closed last week for green maintenance. They were horrible. Bumpy and almost as much sand as a sand trap. I have played there twice before and was better but the greens made play much less enjoyable. I have played both Verrado courses after aerating within the week and both were terrible. Unfortunately, there was no notice or mention or I would have not played either.

Greens ? They were a little (a lot) sandy. On somes greens, you needed a rake to smooth your foot prints ; ).

Now admittedly for $14 I guess what could I have expected, but I did expect more. The threesome I played with (Father and his daughter and son), paid $26 each and I would say they did not get their money's worth. Honestly, the course probably should have been closed to let the process work out (and keep the traffic off the greens as well)

So take the review not as a "this is how it will always be", but in the near term, if you are looking for a complete course, don't expect it.. I am hopefull that over time, whatever the greens crew does, that it will make them better to match the rest of the course condition. I would pay more for that experience...

My friends and I had a wonderful day golfing. Everything was excellent. However, the course conditions fell short on the greens as they were being aerated so they have lots of sand. This made it very difficult to putt.
