Verrado Golf Club - Founders Course

This was my first time playing and wow was I impressed, this course fit my eye well but my score won’t show that. Play smart a driver isn’t always the best club to tee off with I found myself using 3 iron and 4 iron a lot ..the greens were fast for the most part with a few exceptions..

We enjoyed a drink after the round but , were ignored for20 minutes before we were seated the waiter dropped sauce all over one of my playing partners and they seemed like everyone sitting in the restaurant were more of a pain rather than a wanted guest,just a crazy sad vibe after a great happy round of golf.

In conclusion I would say, book a round enjoy the views but maybe just do a drink from the cart girls then head home with good memories....

During this time of the year . The course is a great deal - bang for your buck ! It can get windy at times or pretty hot .

The course was immaculate. Fairways were well manicured and lush, greens were fast, and bunkers well maintained. Perfect day on the course, with pace of play excellent. No doubt one of the best and scenic courses in the entire area. Will definitely be back.

Practice range was great.

Course was excellent. Pace of play was perfect. Greens were firm and ran true. Only complaint was that I lost 2&1 to my brother.

Can’t wait to get back there again.

Course is in great shape. Staff friendly. Pace of play 4 hours. Third time I’ve played it and will be back!!!!

The views on Verrado are phenomenal as is the whole course. If you haven't played it, I highly recommend it!

Course in good condition with a few exceptions. Greens fast. Beautiful course surrounded by mountains. Would recommend playing Verrado Founders course.

The threesome in front of us where very slow the ranger told us and the pro drove by later and said what are they doing up there and drove right by them.

Course is long, fairways in good shape. Greens aren’t great - very hard & fast & didn’t seem to run true. Not worth the drive to get there

It’s nicely maintained in very good shape. This can be a very penal course. If you flirt with the edge of the fairways you can kiss your ball goodbye. They have a “desert” rule that allows you to drop on the closest grass if you can even find your ball.anywhere in the desert. Greens are hard so you have to plan for roll on your approach shots. Overall it was a nice day. It can be a little tricky to get around the course. The entire course is hard so you have to plan for the roll out and f every shot you hit.

First round of the year in warm weather! Staff was terrific. Facility was oustanding. Looking forward to playing the Victory course on Friday.

Made a last minute booking. The golf course is in very good shape. The greens are quick and the fairways firm. Really liked the layout. Played with two high handicapped players, they played the forward tee box. It worked for them, the course was playable. Great day, can’t wait to play the Victory course on Thursday.

Upon arrival I was greeted and guys outside at the pro-shop, range, and starter were all awesome guys. Front nine was challenging good mix of holes solid layout. Greens were extremely hard, i wouldn’t say firm because it was pretty much impossible to make a ball mark even with an 8 iron from 165 out. Given how challenging the areas around the green and bunkers are, it’s pretty unordinary how there’s no forgiveness because of how hard the greens are. This takes a little bit away from the course IMO since you can’t stop the ball or control spin at all, while even being penalized for hitting the center of the greens from 150 out.
