Played back 9 twice due to front under bunker construction.

Fairways in good condition

Greens are great

Staff ery friendly and keeping everyone moving at a good pace.

Played the founders course on a Friday morning and had a pleasant time for our first time at Verrado. Would highly recommend and I’ll definitely be coming back. Staff was friendly and explained the course in great detail since it was our first time there.

The front nine was undergoing bunker renovations so we played the back nine twice which wasn’t a big deal at all, especially for the price we paid. Cart girl had breakfast burritos, hot dogs, drinks, snacks etc.

Playtime was right around 3hr 30min but the course was also pretty dead that day so I would expect a full 4hr on a busy(ish) morning/afternoon. Overall I definitely enjoyed playing here even during the construction phases and will gladly return especially given the price point.

staff was amazing, water on every other hole, carts had plenty of power to get up and down hills. The greens were in rough shape compared to other good courses around and front 9 was closed off due to bunkers being redone so we had to play the back 9 twice. not ideal, but it was fine. I'd play the Victory course over the Founders course though.

Had to play the back nine twice as they were reworking all of the traps on the front nine, Would have looked for another course if this was advertised. Deeper discount for a nine hole track at least

If you can snag an early morning hot deal at this course, I would say do it for the experience. This course has a country club feel with picturesque views, and some of the friendliest staff I have encountered on a golf course. But the shine of this diamond soon starts to fade once you hit the chunky tee boxes that lead to soggy and patchy fairways that are littered with sand traps that look like they’ve been bombed out by the F 35 that fly over this place. I didn’t mind eating the $40. I paid to play here but if I had to spend the $200 that they expect from golfers eight months out of the year, it would be hard to choke down that polished poo.

Always an enjoyable and challenging venue. Bring your friends but also your best game.

Have not played here in 16-18 months because course conditions had become so poor and winter season is so expensive unless you were one of the lucky ones to get a yearly pass before they capped membership. With the heat comes much lower prices and I decided to try it again. The last time I played the greens had become infested with poa annua grass which created uneven and unplayable putting surface, coupled with shoddy grooming of tee boxes and fairways. I would say that it is slightly better than it was. Grooming is better, and some of the greens it looks like they are trying to improve, but still no where near a $200 per round winter course. I’ll play it this summer for $50 and under, but there are better choices in the area for playability at whichever time of the year you play.

Verrado was a course that was challenging but fair. It was in great shape as the fairways were green and greens fast. Definitely a keeper in my rotation.
