Northdale Golf Club

I have placed this course before and thought maybe it would be better this time. I was wrong. They do have decent greens but tee boxes, fairways and rough are are in really tough shape, especially the front nine. The pro shop staff are good guys but the overall condition of the buildings and course need improvement.

I played with my father in law and son on Friday afternoon. On Golfnow.com and the Northdale website, the afternoon pricing was $13.50. When I went in at 3:30, Joel (at the counter) told me it was $18.00 plus tax; I mentioned the online pricing and he told me it didn't apply in the clubhouse. So, I told him I would book it on my phone. I got halfway through the booking process on my phone (at least 6 tee times popped up) and then all of the tee times disappeared. I walked outside and tried to do it again and it said no tee times available. I went back in and was very confused. I paid $38 for the two of us and drove out to the first tee. I checked the website standing on the tee box and all of the times were back up on there website. This horrible employee wouldn't discount me $10 and then blocked all the tee times online so I couldn't book it. I've played at Northdale more than 20 times in the last 18 months. Do you not care about customer satisfaction? Do you train your employees to be passive aggressive Jerks to your customers?

I booked through GN at a great rate, and the fact that they rented me a set of Titleist AP1s for $25 bucks was definitely a plus! The course was in good shape and the layout requires you to keep your driver in the bag and work your iron play. The staff was accommodating and helpful, great place to work on your game, I will def play again when in the TPA area.

Your typical golf course built 25 years ago when the industry was more healthy. Good Ron Garl design, but hard times have hit the course. The greens are still in very good shape, but a bit slow. Can't complain too much with the price I paid.

This is a great course and fun to play. The greens are beautiful.although a bit slow..We were early for our time and played the front nine in just over an hour before catching the groups ahead. A great day!

As I always do, I arrived at the course about 50 minutes early - as a result of no traffic hang-ups.

Pro shop would not let us go early, even though nobody went out while we waited! Not a big deal, but this is the only course that I have had this happen. There was reference by the Pro Shop to the cheap Golf Now time slot? Anyway, we had an open course ahead of us.

I'm not a first timer playing here but I will say I never saw the course is better condition - as close to perfect as you can get. Staff always friendly & helpful and equally great ' 19th hole ' bar area with ice cold beer and grub.

Fairways good condition, greens in excellent condition, smooth and fast (11 on meter), rough good.

Everything in this course are wonderful. Nice, friendly and courteous staff, clean cars, course in optimal conditions, fast greens, friendly environment. I recommended this course and I will try to play there more iften

Nice course greens were great!

Due to the extensive amont of rain over the last week, the fairways were overgrown, which created little to no roll, and some times plugged, not a whole lot could be done about that, and cart path only didn't help either. The greens were in excellent shape and rolled true. The fairway conditions made the round more challenging, but the amount of rain over the last week created these conditions.

I love this playing at this course!! Greens are always in the best shape, can't really say anything bad about this, one of my favorite!!!

What's the deal with people hating tee boxes? Yes, we would all prefer to hit from a pretty surface, but you're hitting off a tee for crying out loud. As long as the tee box is level, what's the problem?

The greens here are very good. Yes there are some rough spots, but the vast majority of the greens are really nice. The fairways are also very good-are there weeds? Of course there are, but there is plenty of soft plush grass as well.

I live less than a mile from the course and it's my "go to" when I can get there by 4:30 to get 18 in. I always enjoy it. Not the greatest challenge in the world, but you have to be on your toes.

This course is a solid 3 to 3.5 and the staff is very friendly. I think some people are expecting Baltusrol for under $20. This is a nice course and well worth the price. Quit the belly aching.

The course conditions overall are average but I liked the greens and the layout. The price was good. I would play it again.

I would almost tend to think they were closing down. The course condition was extremely poor and staff had no clue about customer service. Will NOT be back without verified new work has been done. Not worth my or the other part of our foresomes time...

The course was fantastic. We both turned in good scores and just enjoyed how beautiful the course was. Found not one complaint here. Look forward to returning soon.

Bare spots on several greens, tee boxes were horrible, staff was rude. It used to be the best course in the area but it will be a while before I go back.
