Saddlebrook Resort - Pine/Oak

First time playing after reconstruction. Beautiful work!

Awesome updates to the course can’t wait until the greens are rolling faster!

I had the opportunity to play the Pines-9 and Oaks-9, and what a fun round that was! The course is in very good shape - and when you consider our drought and how a lot of other courses in the area are handling it - Saddlebrook is doing everything right! Played the white tees, and had a lot of proper approach shots - used every club in the bag I think - not a driver/wedge course, for sure! Complimentary bottled water, complimentary valet parking - I felt like I was getting away with something. My only knocks would be that there was a twosome 2 groups ahead that held up our threesome for the entire 2nd nine, and some folks might think the greens were too slow, but we played late in the day and they were still rolling very true, just not extremely fast.

Got a hot deal. Course was in amazing shape, really enjoyed the layout, have nothing to complain about there .The course was empty minus the 3 groups in front of me, no one came out ever to speed up play.. 5 hours is preposterous in mid June with the course empty.

Amazing golf course and such a friendly staff, specially Steve he checked on us twice and refilled our water and ice. I will recommend this course to anyone that looking to have a great golf round.

I recently played Sadddlebrook, because my brother recommended it. I was so happy I did. The last time I played there was two years ago. They have done a total redesign and added a new range and practice area. The staff was great, and after our round we used the on-site restaurant, which had plenty of TVs, and the food was excellent as well.

Staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Weather was moderate. It was my first time on the back nine and the course was not as pristine as the front 9, but very playable. I really enjoyed Saddlebrook and highly recommend playing there.

The convenience of the resort stay and daily golf was great! The 3 - 9 hole courses allowed for quick play and the conditions were great. Pine and Oak were slightly better than Cypress, but all 18 combinations were enjoyable to play. I highly recommend the course and resort.

So miss the old Arnold Palmer track. Other than that it was good.

Absolutely loved the Oaks course. It was immaculate. It was nine great holes, pretty difficult but very rewarding and fun. Went early, had no one in front or behind me. They were working the course hard and now you can understand why it’s in such incredible shape. I played the Cypress the back nine and it was very good, but maybe a step below the oaks. Can’t wait to play it again.

Lovely and challenging golf course in excellent condition and good price. The only problem, and it was significant, was pace of play. We were behind two foursomes and a twosome. Front nine went slowly but back nine was horrendous. We had a 10-15 minute wait on every tee box. The group behind us quit after 14 holes. We quit after 15. I estimated that had we finished, it would have been a 5.5 hour round. We saw one Marshall on the third hole who gave us a wave. Never saw another Marshall. Even if busy, a Marshall should have been present to speed things up. What could have been a great round ultimately was disappointing and frustrating.

Best day of golf in my 70+ years. I must have used the wrong gate and couldn't follow directions to course entrance. Workers and staff person helped me navigate to the clubhouse. This made me a few minutes late but I was warmly welcomed at the club house and quickly set up with a cart (with cooler of water) and directed to hole 1. A group was already on hole 1 and about half way, but saw me as a single and came back to offer me to play thru or ride thru. got me off to a great start with no waiting. Course was in great shape and well laid out with spacious fairways. pace of play was very good and every hole a pleasure (BUT CHALLENGING). On course marshal was very helpful. Warmly greeted at return to clubhouse and my valet parking was free. Really GREAT DAY OF GOLF. Thanks
