Tee Boxes under Construction
The tee boxes were under construction so we had to hit about 50 yards further up on every hole. When I booked it on Golfnow there was no notices telling me this. To top it off they still charge you full pop to play. The new tee boxes will look great but the fairways are in awful shape. All together a terrible value to play there. GolfNow please notify your customers first.
Course under construction
This course was under construction. Should have been discounted pricing. Terrible fairways. Very dry. The only good part about the course were the greens. The greens were decent
Not a happy gofer
The last time I played this course was around 2 years ago. Was one of my favorite courses, needless to say I was very disappointed with all the construction going on and the tee box placements. I believe that Rancho San Joaquin should advise the public about any ongoing activity on the course that might affect play and adjust green fees accordingly. I will definitely not be back until all construction activity is finished.
NIce Place
Lots of construction on May of 21 but it’ll be great when it’s done. They are spending tons of money on it. The greens are really nice already tee boxes all rebuilt.
Tee box
I’ve played the course. It’s been a few weeks due to work. I appreciate the upgrades being done but it would have been nice to mention it at tee time. I payed full Sunday price to be surprised at the tee box
Disappointed
All tee boxes were under repair, temporary T boxes were set up, shortening the course by at least 600 yards. The greens are in good shape, but the fairways look like they have given up on them for many years. You can only play preferred lie on this course because the fairways are unplayable.
The course was in good shape, the pace was in moderate to fast, however too many temporary tee boxes due construction of new cart paths.
Course under construction
Every single hole is under construction. Fairways are in rough shape. No cart girl... they should not be charging full price
New tee boxes.
They’re putting in work right now on the tee boxes. Front 9 using make-shift tee boxes in front of the women’s tee box. The course will be great when it’s all done. It didn’t affect pace of play very much. Fairways are decent and greens are excellent and very challenging. Only $23 walking from golf now hotdeal!
Under repair
Title says it all. Front 9 tee boxes are all under repair. Temporary tee boxes are in poor condition. Fairways are in rough shape. Add to it all greens have been aerated make this course one to skip until all conditions have been fixed. For the money they are charging for the weekend, conditions should be drastically better.
Poor fairways, bumpy greens
Most of the fairways were in poor shape.
Although the greens were recently punched, they were in ok shape..
No more golf at Rancho San Joaquin
No discount for tee box construction. Course conditions are not worth the $70 green fee.
Conditions were terrible
The course is being completely torn up. At least 9 holes had temporary tee boxes. The fairways were dry and hard as a rock. Looks like they haven't been watered in a year. Shameful to charge $44 play this dog track.
practice round
lot of tees moved way forward, makes a short course shorter, but players and staff are nice, nice day, and a good round
Good Value
Course was a good value since I’m a senior. The pace of play was around 4 hrs and we were paired with a group that had a similar skill set. The fairways were a little rough in condition and there was some construction happening on the course during the round. The greens were in excellent condition. I would recommend the course to anyone. Thanks
