Rancho San Joaquin Golf Course
I first would like to say I liked the greens. They bite and are in fairly good condition. However, the fairways are hard and sparse of grass. I moved my ball to grass several times as I didn’t’ want to hit off of such tight lies. I know they’re working on it, and are trying to repair the fairways.
Course is ok
Didn’t like getting charged for a cart fee. Usually is included on tee off.
Good course, but need some renovation
Overall-it’s a good course - was fun to play !
Condition is not perfect-fairways don’t have enough grass , so you often have to deal with a hard ground including around the greens.
Greens also have some bold spots, wich make them really hard to read and put
But general impression-it’s a good course -very friendly staff
Just requiring some work
Disappointed
Fairways were dried out and muddy in some places. Greens were good and the layout was nice. For the price (way overpriced) there are much better courses to play!!
Getting better
Tee boxes are new and leveled , greens need help slow but ok can help improvements . Fairways are horrible lots of dirt areas no grass . Please invest in getting your fairways better . If you do that course will be a must play .
Improved
Course is well improved from the last time I played here about a year ago. Re did some tee boxes and cut some annoying trees down
High cost, low value
Course was $55 plus $15 for the cart. Course conditions were not that great. Fairways were subpar at best. Green were nice but to much dead grass and dry fairways. $15 for a cart and it didn’t have GPS.
Sad
I haven't played this course in 5 years I couldn't believe that it would be in worst shape than the last time I played it
Cool wind
The tee boxes are fresh and the greens were fast! The fairways are a work in progress.
poor conditions
poor conditions, all tee were temporary & moved way up while renovating tee boxes, otherwise, tge course is thin to dirt in spots.
Tee Boxes under Construction
The tee boxes were under construction so we had to hit about 50 yards further up on every hole. When I booked it on Golfnow there was no notices telling me this. To top it off they still charge you full pop to play. The new tee boxes will look great but the fairways are in awful shape. All together a terrible value to play there.
