You schedule 1:52 TT and don't monitor flow so that one cannot have a full round due to Marshall non- involvement. We had only 9 holes in 3 hours. Not good! Don't book so that one cannot finnish the round at the full rack rate.

There were too many brown areas on the fairways and too many muddy areas on the fairways

Hard to find a decent track in this area.

Not perfect but fun and if you dont get stuck behind a slow group its a fun deal.

Cant beat the price but Amer Golf has to put a better effort in maintaining pace of play.

RSJ is a good course, but they must cleanup after their large flock of geese (100's). It is no pleasure to play in bird feces -- especially when you have to scrape it off the greens then off your iron.

We were the first to tee off, so pace of play was not an issue. Greens were in reasonably good condition, much better than the fairways. There seemed to be repairs on almost every fairway. Good value for the price and I will play here again.

Decent course for the money considering the area. Pace of play could be better but that's a common occurance anywhere you go. Greens were in great condition which is the norm here.

I play here regularly, and do so because of the greens. Challenging and roll as true as you can get for a public course in OC.

Course has some drainage problems, probably because the designer attempted to trick out the course too much. Not all greens break towards the water.

Course layout fits great to my game. Holes #9 & #16 are the longest holes on the course, but it's all good because the play down wind. Bombs Away!

Ambassadors on the course to check play. They should advise all players to wave up on the Par 3's to help with the pace a little bit.

I got this round at a discount for $29.99 tee ing off at 9:22am. Staff Very friendly and they had a starter and rangers out there - yet this round still took 5 hours. It's just too stacked. Bottom line. I would never play this course and pay over $30. Just not worth it. The grounds are actually pretty decent if they were not so beaten up and abused by golfers not repairing divots, or marking up the greens. This place gets tons of use because of location - so I don't expect any changes for pace of play - or for making it feel less like a long slog watching all the 20+ cappers line up their putts and take five practice swings for every shot. IMHO there are way better places to play for the money. Which is sad because this place has very nice staff and is close to me.

Teed off on Monday at 10:00am as a single as course was wide open and no one else around. But by 2nd hole, a par-3, pace was already slow and paired up with a twosome. Delays on most holes onfront but can't complain too much since round took 4h 20m (but should have actually been faster since course was not busy).

They've done a nice job of repairing fairways after heavy rains earlier this year. Greens are in good condition.

It took 3 hours to play the front 9. Waited on every shot! Left after 9 as the slow play was worth the wait.

I spent an unbelievable amount of time this past Thursday waiting on a walking twosome with other effectively SLOW players in front of them as well. The course was ridiculously backed up, marshal and starter did not do their jobs of maintaining the pace of play or making sure not to send everyone out at once!! I spent 3 hours and barely finished 7 holes, not even the whole 18 which I paid for! The greens were lumpy as all get out from goodness knows what, maybe people's spikes i haven't the slightest clue but the worst greens I've seen in awhile. Course would be beautiful if it was not for the ridiculous slow play and if people were better at maintaining the greens.

first review I have done on this site. The starter was rude and kept telling us we were up. There was still people in the fairway. In fact there was about 20 juniors in front of us. The round took over 5 hours on a Thursday. The tee boxes ,fairways and the rough were bad. No yardage markers.BAD.REALLY BAD

the earlier you can get out the better - combat golf starts at 830-900am - be prepared for a 5+hour round - before then, you can walk 9 in under 2 hours. course in in good shape considering the amount of play there (very inexpensive)

Staff is incredibly friendly, but the pace of play and the course conditions were awful. Had a tee time at 6pm and they didn't get me out until 6:25. Finished six holes before dark. Several others simply walked off. Awful.

This course is in great condition it wasn't a year ago. I'm playing here more often the greens are excellent
