Really enjoyed the round with nice guys . Started on time . Guy in the Pro shop very friendly and helpful .

We enjoy playing this course. The drive is a little scary getting there on two lane winding road. We always have a good time and enjoy a cool beverage afterwards in the lounge.

This course is always in great condition! Best value for green fees in San Diego county !

If you're from out of town, or a local and want to play a good track, that's reasonably priced. San Vicente is the course. It's tucked in the corners of Ramona Country Estates..... Highly recommended

as far as San Diego County courses go in my price range this is hard to beat. Great condition overall. Fairways and greens are nice. Rough is actually rough. My only issue is with the bunkers. Hardly any sand.

Beautiful valley between some desert hills. The course is pretty narrow, so very challenging if you're drives aren't usually on the fairway.

Played on a Monday morning, pace was fine until we caught up to several other groups bunched together. We were often waiting at the t's while the group before us tee'ed off because the group before them was still working on the same hole. Didn't see a signal marshal working the pace.

Bunkers also deceiving, many had a thin layer of sand over hard mud - protect your wrists...

Very pretty course, though, good snack bar and pro shop. Friendly staff. Call box at the tee box for 9 to call in your lunch order before making the turn. No Verizon cell signal, so no phone interruptions while playing.

The course is in great shape compared to the other local courses around. Each hole is different so the layout is interesting. Most of the time see wild turkeys on a couple of the hole which is really cool.

We drove 40 minutes out of the way to play this course even after the guy in the pro shop was a bit rude on the phone. When we got there they pushed us onto the first tee along with everyone else apparently.

For three of us the round was 5 hours long and not by choice. After finishing the first hole we sat and waited for 20 min to tee off on the second tee. The waiting continue thru the entire 18. A bit of a bummer when you're having expecting an average 4 hour round.

Sadly didn't see anyone come around either to tell people to speed up play, but probably didn't matter considering people were teeing off every 5 minutes.

I love everything about San Vicente except for the trip out there. It's an unrequited love as the course slaps me to the curb almost every time. The course is in great condition and I've always been a huge fan of the layout. As far as the drive to and from San Diego, you're always at the mercy of road construction and accidents on 67. San V is a once a year treat for me and I got a great $20 Hot Deal to boot.

I truly like this course. You’re surrounded by the timeless beauty of the rolling hills, a nice blend of high/costal desert and plush scenery combined with a wonderful family setting. The associates are very nice and the ladies that run the lower snack facility are worth their weight in gold. My association had the fortune of playing a tournament this weekend and the course was in outstanding shape, tee box to greens and fairways alike. The course had two tournaments going at the same time with no degradation in pace of play, kudo’s to the course administration.

The only negative remark the I have is GPS I think that beauty of the rolling fairways, hidden turns and water vista just inviting your shots to take a plunge, the course needs GPS in the golf carts or course booklets. Other than that you will be hard pressed to find a better maintained and deviously challenging course.

Fun course with very little traffic. Greens putted very true and the break seemed to be less than you read almost every time. Good track to challenge multiple facets of your game.

Level tee boxes, green fairways, and soft greens.

Sand traps need actual sand but you don't want to be in there anyway.

Pace of play is slow due to a large number of elderly club members.

this course is one of the best in san diego, the superintendent knows what he is doing, thank you for that.
