About
San Vicente Golf Resort sprawls across lush rolling hills in Ramona, though it is conveniently only 20 minutes from San Diego's many attractions. Situated in the Valley of the Sun, the golf course boasts scenic views of the surrounding mountains as well as temperate weather for most of the year. Ted Robinson designed the layout, utilizing the natural contours and features of the terrain. The golf course only measures to 6,633 yards from the back tees but it seems to play much longer because of the elevation changes throughout, which range from subtle to dramatic. The undulating nature of the landscape gives each hole a unique character. No two holes even vaguely resemble one another on this layout. San Vicente is not only for golfers though, there are also lighted tennis courts, two equestrian centers, and a year-round heated pool.

Tough but Fair
Very nice target course. Different tee boxes make choices to move up one tee box very important.
Would love to play this course again. Greens were fast but fair and in excellent shape.
Great course!
Only real complaint would be its a little pricey for me but outside of that great job guys!
Quite a Beauty
This course is in excellent shape and has a very nice lay-out. Not too tight and the house that populate the edges are usually not in harms way. Very nice.
Nice layout!
First time playing. Loved the layout and undulating greens. Course was a little dry but made drives in the fairway roll out more. Staff was friendly. Teed off at 12 and finished in 4 hours and 15mins. Beautiful drive from San Diego.

The overall scenery is great,
Course and green are well managed.
Had a good round on several courses that were long and short.
Slowest golf game of my life
Don't know if it was just bad luck but that was the top 3 slowest fields I've been a part of. It's a shame because the course is in good shape, awesome layout and beautiful greens. We called it quits on hole 15 because we were already 5 hours into the game.

Off course amenities "Par Grill" restaurant is totally worth stopping in after your round for great food and drinks.
I highly recommend this GC, totally worth the drive and money - I can't wait to return...
It’s been awhile
I haven’t played at San Vicente in over a decade. A friend suggested I give it a shot. The course is well maintained, and a great value compared to similar priced courses in San Diego County. The greens are in great shape, rolled true, and had a lot of movement and undulation. Plenty of attractive water hazards, the sand and bunkers were all in nearly perfect condition with soft sand. Also, beautiful mountain vistas from the course. A real gem! Highly recommend.
Beautiful Golf Course!
Pro shop staff & Starter very nice and professional.
Driver range well maintained, putting practice greens challenging (not flat) which is good to get you ready for what you about to encounter on the course.
The pace of play was like no other, well spaced out - nobody waiting on us and we were not waiting on the players ahead.
Wild life everywhere, fish, turtles, birds, dragon fly's, wild turkeys - yes, wild turkeys!
The greens were full and the fairways were nice.
I enjoyed an IPA & Personal size pizza at the end of my round at the "PAR" restaurant on the deck over looking the course.
I highly recommend the course, you will not be disappointed - I can't wait to come back!
