About
San Vicente Golf Resort sprawls across lush rolling hills in Ramona, though it is conveniently only 20 minutes from San Diego's many attractions. Situated in the Valley of the Sun, the golf course boasts scenic views of the surrounding mountains as well as temperate weather for most of the year. Ted Robinson designed the layout, utilizing the natural contours and features of the terrain. The golf course only measures to 6,633 yards from the back tees but it seems to play much longer because of the elevation changes throughout, which range from subtle to dramatic. The undulating nature of the landscape gives each hole a unique character. No two holes even vaguely resemble one another on this layout. San Vicente is not only for golfers though, there are also lighted tennis courts, two equestrian centers, and a year-round heated pool.

Great course, bad pace.
Great course to play. Pace of play was horrible. Marshall drove by and said nothing to groups ahead. 2 two-somes playing separate and slow. One of the pairs missed their tee time and proceeded to cut in and slow everyone down.
Great Course overall
Great staff,good layout,greens and overall condition, just a little slow pace specially in the back 9. But Definitely recommend and definitely coming Back soon.

Nice course
Well conditioned course. 17 excellent holes plus #11. Staff friendly, p. O. P. 4 hours. Chipping areas especially good, as were sand traps. Greens smooth and ungulating, easy to 2 putt but making putts challenging as it was our first time there. Will return.

Challenging
Very challenging Greenside obstacles and fast greens make sticking your ball near the hole difficult. Was fun to play but very far from most cities. Is worth the price if less than $50 for afternoon.
