Whitney Oaks Golf Club

Had such a lovely round paired with two men who warmed up to us when they saw we could play. Course in great shape.

Everything about this course is great, I only wish players would rack their bunkers after playing out of them.

course was great, weather nice ,overall wonderful.

Blind tee shots are a gimmick. They’re just simply too unfair to most of us novice players. The carts are really cool and have a GPS but it’s slow and the operating system is slow, too. You can’t have it all but you’re asking for my opinion!

The facility and course are in great shape. The practice area is very well kept and the clubhouse is one of the best in the area. Great food and drinks. The range needs new practice balls.

Don't bring hackers to this course; the track is tough. Front 9 is where you need to score because the Back 9 is very challenging. Carts are very nice and the staff is helpful. I would recommend.

Aside from some interestingly placed holes, the course was enjoyable to play. If you stay straight the scorecard will will look favorable but miss the fairway and trouble awaits. I’d play here again but hopefully some of the repairs will be completed soon.

Excellent venue in very very good condition. New carts with GPS and very interesting holes. Only problem was very slow play--we had to skip #11 and then moved smoothly on.

The course has been is better shape, it looked like the end of August not the middle of June on a record low temperature year. I played several other courses near by that were in much better condition. This has always been one of my favorite courses so a little disappointing but hard to complain about a round of golf.

This is the first time for me that the pace of play was nice I didn’t have to wait on anyone trough the entire course , course conditions really nice , green little slow then usual I play this course often and I’ll continue playing here until I break Par, 4 strokes away from the blue tees, I wish the tips were available , good luck to all golfers out there this course is not for beginners lot of hazards and trees.

Booked the 4:20pm tee time. Walked in to pay at 4:10pm, paid, the gentleman at the counter told me that they had a league that was playing there so he had me between them(league before me and league after me).

I get to the tee box at 4:20pm at hole 1 and there are 3 or 4 groups(all 4 sums) just waiting to tee off. I asked them how the league groupings worked since I was sold the 4:20pm tee time. They kindly told me each their times. 4:10pm(hadn't tee'd off), 4:20pm(was 3rd in line to tee off) and we would go after them.

I don't understand how the course doesn't block off the times between 4:00 and 5:00pm for this league. I didn't get to tee off till 4:55pm waiting for the league to go through. I don't mind waiting, but when I went to the club house to explain this to the gentleman, he tried to tell me its because I was late, but realized that I was on time and just played it off that he "warned" me that there would be league in front of me and behind me. FYI, the league didn't let me play between them. I don't see myself ever coming back to this course ever again. Paid $99 for 6 holes for a 3 sum and at this point, it's enough of a lesson to make me go elsewhere.

My review is based on me being a High-Handicapper who prefers wide-open, more forgiving courses--this is not one of them.

I used to shoot in the mid to high 80's. Recently it is the mid to high 90s. So, with that as a frame-of-reference let me say it was a most challenging course.

Very nice well-maintained course, just not user-friendly for high-handicappers.

Many doglegs, elevation changes and tight tee off areas; almost seemed tricked out on some holes.

I suggest playing one (or two?) tee boxes forward from what you normally play just to eliminate an already tough layout.

Keep it in the short grass and good luck!!!

Ill start by saying that

I just expect more from a course that's owned by an Indian Casino..

Fairways are sparce at best. Sandtraps look good on the surface, but water logged just below. Several holes I wasn't even able to see the Fairways from the tee boxes due the the overgrowth of vegetation.. SAD! This course has great potential if management would just put forth some effort in upkeep..

This course is challenging enough when its in top shape..

Great challenging layout. Greens have undulations that make for challenging putts. God really backed up on the back nine. At one point there were 3 groups waiting to tee off on the same hole due to slow play. Shockingly there was not a single marshal on the course all day. Despite this, the course will keep you wanting to come back.

Arrived was greated with a very friendly pro shop attendent was signed in got are cart went up had some breakfast then hit the range were going out as a 2some but invited the 2 gentlemen behind us and made a foursome had a great day of golf pricing was great glad you had club rentals for my grandson
