About
Whitney Oaks Golf Club in Rocklin sits just half an hour from Sacramento but the stunning landscape blanketed with thousands of live oaks feels much more secluded. In addition to the trees, massive granite outcroppings accent the course. It is both a visually stunning and formidable championship layout. The diverse topography is the focus, providing many challenges with the elevation changes and towering trees that line the narrow fairways. The rolling topography helped to determine the placement of the bunkers. Wetlands come into play throughout the golf course, also serving as home to numerous varieties of indigenous wildlife. The golf course finishes with a tough hole, a long par 5 that is flanked by wetlands on both the left and right. Whitney Oaks G.C. also has a practice facility with a 15-station driving range, a putting green, and pitching area.

It's the Extra Care & Service
Beautiful day for 18 today. Course remains in excellent shape. What made today special? 1) We were allowed to T off early. Always nice to beat the crowd and traffic. 2) I lost my cell phone between 16 and the clubhouse. Fell out of my pocket. Thankfully, someone found it, turned it in to the pro shop and the pro shop STAYED OPEN until I could get back to retrieve it. Absolutely service above and beyond. Thanks to all!

Nice day for Golf
Course in great shape, looks like they recently aerated the greens. Putting was a little challenging for me and the greens were slow had to hit the ball firm to reach the pin. Had a early tee time and a great round.

Typical Whitney
Weather was great. T's, fairways, greens and most traps in great shape for this late in a hot summer. Must admit the course ate too many of my balls on this round; but we'll be back Tuesday to do better. Thanks for letting us off early.

Greens
Geeens were recently airlifted, but had some bad fungus spots, pins were placed in close proximity to the fungus areas which for a Saturday was a poor choice in my opinion

I'd play here again
Everything was great. I wish they had a concession stand half way through for snacks and beer but other than that perfect!

Great course
Course is in great condition! Make sure to bring some extra crap balls if you aren’t accurate off the tee. Fairways a fairly narrow and don’t allow for misses too much
