Woodcreek Golf Club

I’ve played Woodcreek a couple times a year for the last few years and this was the best condition the course was in. Fairways, Tee Boxes, Greens all in good condition. New sand in the sand traps also although they need to rake these at the start of every day. Pace was very good. Course is a good layout.

The course as usual is well kept and fun, little bummed that there were no range balls although it was included in our fees, they gave us a token and was told they were low, yeah they were low, a total of 3 range balls for 2 players that we both had reservations that included range balls, also no employees collecting range balls either. Other than that no beverage cart driving around like in the past, but if rating the course only it would be 5 star, but with everything as a whole then yes the rating drops.

The greens are getting healthy after a punch and would have give the overall experience a 4.8!!!!

We had a great time and the course was overall in good shape however it still was a little wet in spots but Woodcreek is always a great play.

Great course, had fun, light rain, but course was in great condition.

It’s a shame that such a beautiful course is in such a condition and poor management of players. There was a marshal who came by twice and even told us that there was a team that slowed down the pace. Finished the game in almost 5 hours and exhausted due to waiting on each hole. There was no yardage markers so we had to rely on our path finder. The tee boxes were worked on but the yardage readings were off, according to my path finder. Greens were fast enough and the bunkers had real sand and relatively well maintained. Pro golf shop staff was friendly and courteous. I hope they make some improvement in pace controlling to make the game more enjoyable. We will return probably week after the Easter and hopefully we’ll have a better experience.

And my husband were initially given a cart with no glass cover upon check in, I usually would be fine with it, although today I just had a procedure done to my eyes and it made it very sensitive to the wind and sun so I came in the shop to see if we can get one with a cover. Without thinking twice, Hayden came outside to try to find us one. But then came this older employee, he looks at us and without even asking says “READ THE SIGN!” thinking we were returning a cart. We said we’re waiting for someone to get us a cart. He yells at this very kind employee named Hayden in a very embarrassing tone infront of us and says “WHY?!” And shakes his head. Hayden then just goes on and helps us load our bags in to the cart. The rudeness of the older guy is the only thing we can complain about. But when we were waiting in Tee 1 (while kids were taking time to tee off) the same kind employee, drove to us to help us be able to start in the back 9 so we don’t have to wait for slow play since kids were training. Amazing experience with customer service from employee Hayden. Now, with all the kids training and stuff, we still finished in under 4 hours which isn’t so bad. Also, the fairway and greens are getting better. So I will still keep coming back and recommend this course to my friends. We just moved to the area and only our second time playing here but because of the excellent assistance we got from Hayden, we will definitely keep coming back.

Fun course but needs work on the fairways. Dirt was hard as a rock (missing grass in spots) but greens were good. Drink cart came around several times. Staff was very friendly. Had late lunch after and the food was good.

Played twice in the last two days and there is no sign of a Marshall. I'm all for. People with limited golf knowledge and experience playing the course. We all started somewhere, but the pace has been horrific. 3.25 hours for nine holes? Someone needs to be spending time on weekends ensuring people teeing off understand how the course works.. 90 seconds.. 10-15 min a hole... Please.

Course is getting better. Happy to see it.

Please put a sign out front telling people the improvements that are coming. We look forward to the elusive cart delivery that never seems to come.

Course is in very poor condition (see photos) - fairways are similar to a cow pasture. However, the greens are in excellent condition. Cart batteries are worn down. Our cart died on the second hole. It took them 25 minutes to bring us out a different cart. The course is in a very pictureque sitting. It is too bad it is not better maintained. I doubt we will return.
