Walk in the footsteps of pros at the Inverrary Country Club. Robert Trent Jones Sr. designed the golf courses at this club.
The legendary East Course is the signature course, where 15 PGA and LPGA tournaments were played including the Honda, the Jackie Gleason - Inverrary Classics, the Tournament Players Championship and the LPGA Phar-Mor Classic.
It is in excellent condition and is characterized by large, rolling greens, multiple tees, strategically placed bunkers, and lots of water. Its length from the championship tees is over 7100 yards.
The 7th hole is frequently mentioned as among the best par threes in Florida. Playing 199 yards from the back tee, it's all carry over water to a green that is angled in such a way as to look far smaller than it is in reality.

Awesome
We played as a twosome. Started raining on the back nine. We had an enjoyable time and intend to play it again. Course personal were very helpful and considerate.
Fairways need help
The fairways are in need of work. Greens were good. Layout interesting. May have been in better shape when Jackie Gleason was a member.
Disappointed in condition
Extremely upset about a course I have played and loved for numerous years now has very mush so seen it's better days. The historic and well deserved fame from the past. Has been destroyed by terrible conditions. Tee boxes with little to no grass and poorly leveled and fairways with nothing but horrible lies due to turf conditions. Green were playable and consistent but that is the only good thing about my round. I have played this course 3-4 times each year between March and May for the past 4 years but will not be back until I see numerous positive reviews about condition s.
excellent course, courteous friendly staff, a joy to play
The best i play in the région
Green fast gras fairway good vers good deel in after 14 reely enjoy
A "Has Been" golf course
We could tell this "was" at one time a nice club but it is in need of a lot of maintenance, both on the course and in the clubhouse/grill. Practice tees were very ratty, there were no signs directing us to the next tee box so we followed the cart path to where we thought the next tee should be but 3 or 4 times we went the wrong way. Even the few signs that were there were hardly ledgeable. Cart paths were very, very rough and many had standing water & black mud.
This was not worth $50. Be aware go somewhere else to play.
One good note: The greens were very nice & fast
Great greens, fairway patches
Greens were fast and in excellent condition.
Fairways were spotty with tight lies.
Fun coarse
Had a great time alot of history at this coarse. Pace of play was the only thing that was bad. Was held up for along time with the amount of people in front of us.
Very poor conditions
Not a good value for your money. Poor conditions. Look elsewhere.
Great value, bring some patience
The East course at Inverrary is a hidden gem. Great greens and a challenging layout make this a course you want to return to. Pace of play the past two times I've been there has been 4:30 or so. Rangers actively manage it, but it could use a bit more attention to keep it at 4 hours. Will go back again soon.
Legendary course needs help
It's a great course or it used to be. Played here many times and each time I come back the condition keeps getting worse and worse. Staff and worker are wonderful. Legendary course but maintenance crew needs to step it up . Greens are good but fairways and tee box are missing grass , patches of dirt and rocks everywhere.
First timer
First time playing this course. Found the staff very welcoming and helpful. Course conditions were good with the greens extremely fast.
I would go back to this course.
lots of history
club house is very tired and could use an upgrade, but if you are there for the golf, nice layout. greens were outstanding, fairways a bit thin and dry. great value for the money. could play there on a regular basis. played the east course.
Very Enjoyable
Would recommend this course to any level of golfer. Played the round in under 4 hours and never felt rushed. Great customer service.
East is the better of the 2 courses
West course was not bad, but the east course was the better one by far. Both courses had really nice greens. Pace of play stinks, at least on the East course. Played both course on the same day, replay rate was a great deal on the east thanks to the lady working the pro shop.
Course is a statement to where golf may be headed. Once a great course - a pga tour stop (Jackie Gleason classic), the facilities are lacking. Rest rooms old and in need of significant improvements. Cart paths are crumbling. Overall an ok course but lacks definition for the first time player. Score card had no layout of the course/holes and it was difficult to know where you were going and the hazards on each hole. A picture on the score card would help. Greens in pretty good condition, fairways just average to poor. Pace of play was excellent since there it was not very busy. Played in 3 hours.
