Walk in the footsteps of pros at the Inverrary Country Club. Robert Trent Jones Sr. designed the golf courses at this club.
The legendary East Course is the signature course, where 15 PGA and LPGA tournaments were played including the Honda, the Jackie Gleason - Inverrary Classics, the Tournament Players Championship and the LPGA Phar-Mor Classic.
It is in excellent condition and is characterized by large, rolling greens, multiple tees, strategically placed bunkers, and lots of water. Its length from the championship tees is over 7100 yards.
The 7th hole is frequently mentioned as among the best par threes in Florida. Playing 199 yards from the back tee, it's all carry over water to a green that is angled in such a way as to look far smaller than it is in reality.

Great value for money
Inverary east was has a great layout, conditions are good and greens were in good shape and true.
Course has a very nice layout and forces you to use some golf management and play some target shots.
Overall great value for money and would certainly play it again at this price.
Inverrary Country Club
This course is easy to get a Tee time on, especially for non-residents like me who are just down in Florida for a vacation. It is a long course with fast greens, wide fairways, and lots of water.
Enjoyable
While it was a light-rainy day, it was not car-path only. It was more lonely than usual for a SFL winter season Sunday morning.
Course in in general good shape, could use some TLC in some areas. Car path definitely needs maintenance, if not a remake, although I would always prefer walking if it was allowed -it isn't-
The layout is interesting, mostly straight and straightforward with a few dog-legs and some water.
Greens as interesting while not particularly challenging, well-sized and well kept. I wish player would be more carefull with ball-marks.
Bunkers could use more sand and less rocks. sand is a bit on the compact and heavy side.
As a has-been, the complex has a lot of history of glory-days bygone, and the age shows everywhere.
Good value, excellent greens
Overall all This course offers good bang for your bucks. Putting greens were quick and had some decent slopes. Fairways were good. Only negative comment would be the compacted sand in the traps. It seems as the groomers packed down the sand.
Fast greens - spotify fairways
Fast greens - spotify fairways. A bit slow-paced on sunday
Inverrary West
Great value for November golf in Florida. Used golf now with my B of A card and w the 25% it cost me $50 for two. Fairways were a bit bare in places but the greens were nice and really fast. Only complaint was the pace of play which took almost 5 hours. More than likely was the hackers in front of us playing from the blue tees. Unless u can break 90 don't play from the blue tees!
Come for the greens
The one thing that stands out on this course is the greens. They are very fast when putting, but hold the ball on approach shots. They are great. However this course could use some upgrades, particularly with fairway conditions. They also did not have a map of the holes on scorecard, or by the tee boxes which made it hard to tell what some holes looked like. It would also be nice to have stakes in the ground to mark where distance markers are as it was difficult to tell how far away you were unless you were a few yards away from the distance marker. This course has the potential to be great with some improved conditions other than the greens
THE WEST
I play this course a lot. It is what we call a very hard easy golf course.
Many shots require accuracy and distance control.
In good condition, greens were very fast but true.
Challenging for A weekend golfer
It's ben A long time since I've played such fast greens. A beautiful course well worth the money.
good fast green
good i like check ours hotdeal for the good courses and the good prices
dingy
the wvhole place needs a radical "do over", from dingy low power lighting in the whole proshop area, to the way the merchandize is presented, to the unfriendly staff in the proshop. The course is littetred with all sorts of trash, empty bottles and cans and other items. The hole numbers, a golf course basic, are missing pn several holes. The course markings and cart paths were terrible. The restaurant and staff - words fail me. HOWEVER the course was in pretty good shape and good value
Great day at Inverrary
We played from the blues, which was over confident on our behalf but had a great day.
The course is well laid out, with water on quite a few holes but still with a safe landing area.
The beer cart had a special: buy 5 get 1 free, the kicker is it was only $15. Sweet.
Would definitely come back.
Course in ok condition cart path rough could use some repair.
Overall ok value greens are always in great condition. Some fairway improvements needed. Cart path needs fixing very bumpy areas pot holes . Needs to be resurface.
Nice enjoyable round
Nice course, enjoyed the round and pace of play. Only disappointment was the sand traps - very hard sand.
Nice course
Play where all the big names competed in the 70's at the Jackie Gleason Invitational. While some sections of the cart path needs repair, the course itself is in good condition. Especially the greens. The layout is good and some of the holes quite challenging. Staff was very friendly. Highly recommended
