Walk in the footsteps of pros at the Inverrary Country Club. Robert Trent Jones Sr. designed the golf courses at this club.
The legendary East Course is the signature course, where 15 PGA and LPGA tournaments were played including the Honda, the Jackie Gleason - Inverrary Classics, the Tournament Players Championship and the LPGA Phar-Mor Classic.
It is in excellent condition and is characterized by large, rolling greens, multiple tees, strategically placed bunkers, and lots of water. Its length from the championship tees is over 7100 yards.
The 7th hole is frequently mentioned as among the best par threes in Florida. Playing 199 yards from the back tee, it's all carry over water to a green that is angled in such a way as to look far smaller than it is in reality.

Nice course... Check in is nonsense!
After having played this nice course at least a dozen times, I was surprised that during this trip a new check in policy has been instituted that is annoying and unnecessary. I arrived about an hour early and went to the pro shop to check in for myself and my partner on a PRE-PAID 2pm reservation. The employee behind the counter told me that I would not be able to check in until sometime between 1:30 and 1:45. I left and ate lunch and returned at 1:35 planning to grab some range balls and check in. This time I I was told that I would have to wait until 1:45 to check in. I was a bit p'd off at that point so I told the counter boy that I would stand there and wait the 9 or 10 minutes and to cancel the range balls. He laughed and said whatever. You know... I bet the starter can read the tee times on the slips and keep them straight. If not... get a new starter. Delaying check in is counterproductive and a bad customer service policy. With so many courses available I hope this bad attitude improves. I won't be back this season.
interesting course nice fairways greens in good condition
the course was challenging. A good number of par fives. Par threes were challenging especially the hole up on a hill.
Greens ok but poor faiways
Greens were in goof condition although they had been sanded but the majority of the fairways on the West course were not so good
No Attention From Staff after several complaints!
We got stuck behind a group of 4 who were getting a playing lesson. They took FOREVER, as we waited for over 10 minutes per hole. WE called the pro shop to complain, and their response was to pass them and go to the next hole. Our GPS in our cart was not working, requested new ones several times and were ignored. The course conditions are decent, however, the Staff is somewhat of a joke!. I will not be back!
Much improved over previous years
Some hesitatIon before playing this course because of previous years experience on their greens. They are much improved and will not hesitate to go back again.
However, their GPS are always one hole late. Useless.
Very nice course
The golf Club of Inverrary East is always in excellent shape and it's a great course to play.
The green are always nice but very very very difficult....

Unfriendly staff, decent track, slowest round I've ever played. Rangers no help
Don't bother, decent golf course to play but the staff were so rude and dismissive I will never go back. Worst of all we clocked a 6.5 hour round and waited endlessly on every shot. Rangers were clueless. Much nicer experiences for the same money.
Course in good condition, but ordinary layout.
Greens are in great shape but course layout is uninteresting with many holes playing back on each other.

East Course, had fun time
Great staff....friendly and courteous.....Range was poor at best...mats only and they were in bad shape, no rubber tees available....iron use only.......East course in pretty good shape...a few greens had some turf repair issues..greens a little on the slow side compared to the lightning fast practice green,.but overall a pretty nice course , good time had by all.
That course need more maintenance in general. Few tees having bare patches. Greens are slow but ok for the average golfers.

Nice Course Great Value
This course has a fun layout. There are alot of dog legs and trees and water are properly placed. The greens were in good condition the day we played and though they were on the slow side due to not being cut and rolled in a couple of days they were consistant. The only drawback was the GPS was down that day... (it just wasn't just ours it was their main system). I like this course enough that I will go back and play it again soon. Great value for the money!!!

The ranger told us to 16 hole at 17.15 hres;, go to 18 hole, because the carts must to be in the garage for 17.30 hres,,......
It's the first time that i see that.
We paid for 18 holes, and it was clear outside until 18.00 hres.
Great layout great greens
Best deal and course in South Florida, always a play in a visit to Ft Lauderdale area
greens were hard,fairways were fair
half decent course but marshall had a hard time to control the pace,waiting on every hole it took us 5 hours to play it,way too long
