Located just 20 minutes from downtown in the Forest Hills section of Tampa, Babe Zaharias Golf Course meanders through a tree-lined residential neighborhood. The golf course measures a modest 6,020 yards, but should not be taken lightly. Although both nines on "The Babe" are par 35, the back side sports four par-4 holes in excess of 400 yards, providing a challenge for golfers of all skill levels.

Great value for your money
The course is in good condition and the staff is always very friendly.
Always Fun
Greens had just been punched but course was otherwise in pretty good shape. Pace of play is usually pretty good. Course isn't overly long and it's fairly forgiving, but still has a few challenging features.

Course was in good condition…greens had been aerated which we knew about beforehand…if they keep the prices down, I am there
Sub-Par Muni Course
1st time playing. No driving range. Which is strange but ok. Course was not in good shape. Greens very patchy with a lot of dead spots, didn’t roll well. Fairways were a mix of grass seedling and dirt. Shot a 72 so not poor playing, just not great conditions.
Golf course in great shape
The golf course is in great shape. The golf carts are NOT rain friendly. There is NO golf club cover on the back of the carts and there is NO windshield. You are completely exposed to the elements. Even less expensive courses have carts that have windshields and a cover for your clubs. NOT GOOD!
Great muni course!
Nice, well maintained muni course. Staff is friendly, and the course is fairly forgiving but with a few challenging holes. Pretty affordable for an afternoon round. Only downside is no driving range.
Good greens
Course was in decent condition greens were ok but pace of play was terrible. Other than that all good and nice course I enjoy playing.
Not a bad course
Fairways are starting to get in rough shape. A fun layout but needs some work on course conditions.
Never see it so bad
Been playing this course for 20+ years due to location and convenience, never seen it in worse condition than it is currently. The Fairways are toast, tee boxes are toasted and seemed to have not mowed anything else in over a week as anything off of the fairway or dirt we were barely able to find as the weeds were about to our knees. Greens were not terrible but had some bare spots but consider that fairly normal for Florida this time of year!
Greens and Fairways where horrible
Played here many many times before but this time was by far the worse conditions I have ever seen this course not worth the $50 fee to play in those conditions .
Course conditions poor
This is the worst I have seen this course in a long time. They have a lot of nerve charging the price they did to play this course under these conditions.
Favorite Goat Track ever
You aren’t here for the layout, you aren’t here for scenery, you certainly aren’t here for the course conditions. You are here because it’s the babe and it’s awesome. Never stop sucking!
