Located just 20 minutes from downtown in the Forest Hills section of Tampa, Babe Zaharias Golf Course meanders through a tree-lined residential neighborhood. The golf course measures a modest 6,020 yards, but should not be taken lightly. Although both nines on "The Babe" are par 35, the back side sports four par-4 holes in excess of 400 yards, providing a challenge for golfers of all skill levels.

Greens need work
Needs maintenance in the rough and the greens were not in good shape. Not too bad but I will have to drop it out of my rotation for a while until they get it looking better.
Decent
Course is on the shorter side but by no means is it easy. Requires good golf shots.
In terms of the quality, the fairways and rough were average. Needed to move onto grass at some places.
The greens tho…not good. Very sandy and it looks like the mowers made smell trenches in them.
Course was okay, fun layout. In terms of pricing, it worth about $30 with the current conditions of the greens.

Super neighborhood course owned by Tampa sports authority. Nestled along homes from 50’s staff does excellent job maintaining. Staff is super and very friendly. Course really crowded this visit and slow play by some backed up the course for close to 5 hour round We play this course 2-3 times a month and usually play less than 4 hours.
Maintenance needed.
Second time playing this course...first time this year. Slow pace due to older gentleman in group ahead of us. Tight lies stood out the most. Tee boxes needed some care.
The worst was two the three carts in our group had next to no brakes! If you didn't park on the flat your cart rolled away from you.
That could of been dangerous and maintenance is needed to avoid a accident.
