Located just 20 minutes from downtown in the Forest Hills section of Tampa, Babe Zaharias Golf Course meanders through a tree-lined residential neighborhood. The golf course measures a modest 6,020 yards, but should not be taken lightly. Although both nines on "The Babe" are par 35, the back side sports four par-4 holes in excess of 400 yards, providing a challenge for golfers of all skill levels.

Good shape
It was in good shape love the rain season always makes the course so much nicer
Decent Course
Played this course for the first time. Pace of play on Sunday was 4 hours. Greens and fair ways were in fair to good condition. Tee boxes were a little rough on half the holes. Overall, a decent municipal type course. I would play again, if pace of play was always 4 hours. Good course to work on your game.
Great Day of Golf!
Me and another friend played on a Wednesday, and had a great time. Really fun course!
Played Babe Zaharias. Definitely not in great shape. Greens were ok as were the tee boxes. Fairways Definitely need work. No cart girl and not enough water containers on course. It's hot out so bring extra water.
Three for the course
Our threesome has played the Babe several times in the past. We were happy to see the greens were full of grass but it was a little too long and definitely should have been rolled down. Other than that...good.
Babe
Babe is in very bad condition. The greens were as long as fairways with many having weeds in them. Ball did not roll but bounced on them and the weeds. Unacceptable. I’ve golfed there before but not again. Even $31.99 was paying too much for this course.
Greens need work
Needs maintenance in the rough and the greens were not in good shape. Not too bad but I will have to drop it out of my rotation for a while until they get it looking better.
Decent
Course is on the shorter side but by no means is it easy. Requires good golf shots.
In terms of the quality, the fairways and rough were average. Needed to move onto grass at some places.
The greens tho…not good. Very sandy and it looks like the mowers made smell trenches in them.
Course was okay, fun layout. In terms of pricing, it worth about $30 with the current conditions of the greens.
