About
Located just 20 minutes from downtown in the Forest Hills section of Tampa, Babe Zaharias Golf Course meanders through a tree-lined residential neighborhood. The golf course measures a modest 6,020 yards, but should not be taken lightly. Although both nines on "The Babe" are par 35, the back side sports four par-4 holes in excess of 400 yards, providing a challenge for golfers of all skill levels.

Great course; Challenging, yet fun
The course conditions were perfect. We started off a little slow but things picked up and we finished the round around 3.5 hours. They didn't have a ton of facilities on the course and we didn't see any cart girl if there was any. Greens were in great shape and I had a great time golfing.
It's a nice course with just enough challenges to make it both rewarding and frustrating.
Enjoyable course
Course is enjoyable to play from tee box to green. Best conditioned course I've played in months.
Challenging Layout
Challenging layout. Open, but several shots must carry significant water. Fairways a bit rough and greens were very slow. All in, a lovely day in spite of my poor golf game.
Beautifully maintained and well laid out course
We had a great round. The course was challenging and fun. We will be back!
OK, but a bit rugged
A good day in spite of golf. Challenging lay. Greens were slow. Fairways not as well maintained as some other courses in the area. Given the TeeOff price, I would play again.
Love the course
Pace was good and the greens are in great condition
Staff is friendly and helpful. Conditions are okay other than the greens are terribly slow.
Slow greens Bad pace
Due to overseeding on the front nine had to play the back nine twice. Layout is decent but the greens are terribly slow. Do not leave your birdie putts short. Attempted to play the back nine again but the pace of play was just too slow.
November Golf
For November golf the course was okay. The greens were okay ,not great. Long par 4’s good test. Sand traps are alittle firm.
As good as it gets
Ok to get a round in during the day. Not a very challenging course length wise but you still have to hit quality shots. Great place to drop a couple balls and get some work in.
Very nice
Was a single ,starter peared me with another single. Very nice man ,enjoyed the round ,nice course and man . Greens good shape for no rain in last couple weeks. Was outing ahead of us but they moved along. All in all from pro shop ,starter to course was a very nice day. Thanks to all!!!
