Babe Zaharias Golf Course

This course is quite challenging, even from the forward tees....nice fast greens, fairways cut close and with minimal bare spots, but a fair amount of water hazards that will catch an errant shot...overall, the nice course to play and worth the drive from Port Richey.....

My girlfriend and I wanted to play a local city course and Babe Zaharias was perfect for our Saturday morning. Friendly staff and adequate amenities. Food and service was great. Will definitely play the Babe again.

Besides being still quite wet… the course was delightful to play

The new greens are awesome! The rest of course is in the same condition as it always has been. The fairways and tees are typical condition for an affordable public course in Tampa (crabgrass and hardpan). Fun layout!

Friendly staff, good food, course was paced well and in good condition. The greens were outstanding, recently replaced so they were great but firm. Overall a great value round.

Kudos to TSA for the new greens at Babe Zaharias. They are both true and fast. Factoring in hurricanes Helene and Milton, the course condition was excellent. Many trees are down, but all fairways were clear even though some had ground under repair due to prior flooding from overflow of ponds. The weather was perfect, the pace of play was perfect and the staff (especially the restaurant staff) were awesome. Definitely looking forward the playing again.

I recently had the pleasure of playing on the newly designed and developed greens at Babe Zaharias. The updates to the greenside bunkers were particularly impressive, contributing to an exceptional golfing experience. The course is very well-maintained, with immaculate fairways (except 1st & 10th hole) and tee-off areas. Overall, the enhancements have elevated the quality of the course, making it a highly recommended destination for golf enthusiasts.

greens are absolutely amazing , some of the best ive seen, but, the rest of the course is terrible fairways and tboxes look like the median of I75, no range, t times are super close so pace of play isnt that fast and for a 60$ course id expect alot better.

All 18 holes have temporary greens and the fairways are aerated. They are almost done with the greens so by next month they should be fine. I can’t wait to see the course when it’s done.
