About
Located just 20 minutes from downtown in the Forest Hills section of Tampa, Babe Zaharias Golf Course meanders through a tree-lined residential neighborhood. The golf course measures a modest 6,020 yards, but should not be taken lightly. Although both nines on "The Babe" are par 35, the back side sports four par-4 holes in excess of 400 yards, providing a challenge for golfers of all skill levels.

Decent course, some holes be on a look out
Decent course everyone working there were great though some holes yiu will have to be very aware as you could be hit by balls flying into you.
Rough condition
Short course with some fun holes. Not in real good condition.
Great Course to Practice Accuracy
This course has a great layout. It’s not long, but shot placement is paramount. Love the challenge.
Easter is the 2nd best Sunday to play golf
The pace of play was excellent at under 4 hours, thanks to Easter. The course wasn't in the best of shape, and the greens were a bit inconsistent, but for the money, I wasn't expecting pristine conditions. The course is fairly short, and I got paired up with some folks who wanted to play the white tees. At about 5800 yards, it's short course, even for a par 70. Putts rolled well, but the greens were sometimes fast, and other times a bit slow.
Standard Municipal Course
Interesting layout and a score able course.
Starter let a couple of regulars out after us that mucked up pace of play for the first 3/4 groups.
Greens were decent pace but in rough condition and the rest of the course pretty much the same. I will likely not go back.
Good day for a round
The fairways were nice but the 1st cut and behind was not good. The course layout was nice and staff members were friendly and cheerful. Great course for beginners and middle of the road players.

We had a great time playing this course. Course is in fairly good shape considering winter and drought conditions! We will be back!
We came back.
In spite of the one hour drive from where we are staying, we came back because we enjoyed playing this course so much. Great layout lots of nice challenges and opportunities to play every club in the bag. Staff were friendly and helpful and the clubhouse was clean and well presented. We had a Cuban sandwich in the bar after our round and they were delicious. This is definitely on our list when we return to this area next year. Thanks!
A Strategic Course
Love this course because of the layout. The course is pretty decent for the money spent. Second time playing within a week. Will definitely visit again.
We Came Back
If anything, it was better the second time.e! Staff, amenities and layout all 5 full stars. A few areas with very minor condition issues that are hardly worth mentioning.
Excellent Value
A beautiful, mature course with massive trees all around. Very minor issues with conditions on a few greens did not detract from the enjoyment of the course. Pace of play was great, just under 4 hours. The staff and the other golfers were all friendly and accommodating. A tremendous value, we will be back.
