About
Countryway Golf Club is an executive golf course that is known for its extremely affordable rates. Situated in the heart of Westchase, it is considered one of the best values in Tampa Bay. The layout consists of eleven par-3 holes and seven par 4s. The golf course is challenging enough for more advanced golfers but it is still player-friendly enough for beginners to enjoy. The rolling terrain provides undulations in both the greens and fairways. The hills also make for some challenging putts. There is no shortage of water at Countryway Golf Club with hazards coming into play on 14 holes. There are also bunkers strategically placed throughout.

$21 Sunday, Not Unhappy
2 groups waiting on every hole. The greens are 2 ft from the next hole's tee boxes, so you're constantly expecting to get hit every time you're teeing off. Expect to hear "Fore!" a lot. Greens we're in pretty good shape and the staff was very friendly and knew what they were doing.
Good Short Course
This was my first time playing this course. The greens were in excellent condition and the fairways were okay.
Holy wait time Batman!
This gem of a short course is the last place I’ll ever go on a weekend ever again! Don’t get me wrong, my wife and I enjoyed the course! However, you should break out the tequila and do shots each hole. It’s a party course with player music, yelling, disrespectful green behavior, and the longest wait times I’ve ever seen. It took 5 and 1/2 hours to play this short course. And that was with us skipping over 15. The average wait time between holes was 7 to 10 minutes!!!! The course was $18 and every child, teenagers, and party atmosphere 20 something plays on the weekend. Next time we try and random weekday.
A little disappointing
First I’d like to say that it was Christmas Eve that we were there visiting. My cousin,(17), who’s interested in golf, and happened to be getting his first set of clubs for Christmas the NEXT DAY. But because he didn’t have his own clubs they made him rent clubs when we were a 4some and had plenty of clubs. I think that can deter people from playing if they don’t have their own clubs yet. I just think it’s silly to make someone rent clubs. But I do really like playing here when we visit and will play here again I’m sure!
Terrible pace, dont play
Pace terrible, 2 hrs for 6 holes. We stopped playing. No marshall present. Denim and music must be standard.
Backed up.
This course way over books itself. We started at 2 and couldn’t finish before dark because they booked way to many tee times and had to wait in a line of at least 5 carts every hole.
Do not play, very slow, just for beginners
After 6 hole and 2 hours we stoppen to play. Guys with load music, has nothing to Do with golfing
STAY FAR AWAY
Be ready for no “fore’s”, pace of play sucks. Course conditions are below average. And be ready to wait every single tee box for a minimum of 10 minutes. STAY FAR AWAY
Good Fun Round
Piece of play was a bit slow and could’ve used the Ranger to move things along but all in all we had a great round a lot of fun and the course was in pretty decent shape
Good-Could be better
I arrived an hr early to warm up, etc. Starter tried to get me out right away? He told me I cud get balls inside for the range. Went inside only to b told there wasn’t a range. The starter was telling me about the balls they have for sale? Who does that? Anyway, wasn’t told about a practice chipping green either? Too bad. Pace of play was slow and a bit dangerous where some greens and tees are close together. Really should b some nets in 2 or 3 places. I will end on a positive that the location and $22 grn fee was excellent.
