About
Countryway Golf Club is an executive golf course that is known for its extremely affordable rates. Situated in the heart of Westchase, it is considered one of the best values in Tampa Bay. The layout consists of eleven par-3 holes and seven par 4s. The golf course is challenging enough for more advanced golfers but it is still player-friendly enough for beginners to enjoy. The rolling terrain provides undulations in both the greens and fairways. The hills also make for some challenging putts. There is no shortage of water at Countryway Golf Club with hazards coming into play on 14 holes. There are also bunkers strategically placed throughout.

Nice course
This was a great little course for the value. The pace of play was pretty slow. Overall would recommend and play again.
Pack your patience
5 hours on an “executive “ course?! good course for practice, tough on beginners.
A hidden executive jewel
This was a nice little “executive” course. Overall conditions were decent. A few of the greens were a bit rough. One cup was in horrible condition. The pace of play was quite slow. Had a wait at most tees. On the third tee we waited over a half hour. Made quite a backup. The staff was excellent and the 19th hole was very good and reasonably priced. The pro shop was slightly better than is typical now a days. Finally, the price made it all worthwhile. Extremely reasonable. I will return in the future.
Nice small course
This is a small course that can help you with your short game. Course was is fair condition.
Greens a lot better
Greens and course have improved a lot recently. Have played here many times and will continue to. Very friendly staff and can’t beat the price.
Making improvements
Been a while since I played here. Always fun but conditions tend to be poor. Today the greens were in great shape for such a course. Fairways were freshly mowed at 9am on a Saturday. Staff was amazing and overall fantastic morning of golf. If you haven’t played here in a few months, I’d highly recommend giving it another shot.

I love this course, but we would affectionately call the pace of play a death march. Tee times need to be spaced out more. Also, please add some grab and go lunch items to speed up pace at the turn.

Okay executive course, but too crowded
The course was fun to play, layout was okay. Some greens needed work.
However, there was no control of when groups started. The starter sent people out as soon as they got to the first tee, regardless of actual tee time.
As a result there were 4 groups on every tee! The front nine took an excruciating 3 hours to play. Lucky, groups left after nine, the pace improved and the back took about 1 1/4 hours.
Yesterday the backup at hole #3 was ridiculous. 40 minute wait to tee off. The starter needs to push groups back to 15 minutes between each other.
