About
Located only minutes away from downtown Tampa, Rogers Park Golf Course offers easy access to Tampa International Airport and also the beautiful beaches of Tampa Bay. Although it has a convenient location near many attractions, it is secluded from the noise of busy streets and neighborhoods since the Hillsborough River almost completely surrounds it. The scenic golf course has water hazards coming into play on several holes and there are sand bunkers throughout. In addition to the course, Rogers Park is known for their extensive practice facilities. They boast of having one of Tampa's finest driving ranges and their three-hole course provides excellent short game practice.

Not Good
Course was bad, all I can say.
Great history, Mr. Rogers was a great man from what I read in the clubhouse.
Nice golf course after all
Nice golf course in good condition. The only concern that I had is because it is a little bit free for all over there. There was no control so poeple did what they want. We where 4. In front of us there was a twosome. After us there was at least 3 loneley players. We saw à sixtsome (six players playing togrther). A friend of mine who was playing the same day saw à sevensome ( seven players playing together). We even saw a foursome with 3 golfcart one with one bag but with à family of four sit in the cart, another cart with one bag but with 2 poeple on the cart and à cart with 2 golfers so a total of eight poeple in the same time.
So we had à Nice day afterall but we felt that we played in à circus
have played here many times, always a pleasure. I get better the more I play there.
Rogers Park
Greens a little slow and bumpy but the rest of the course is in great shape. Pace was slow but Saturdays can be like that. Still a great value, staff was great.
Nice layout poor conditions
Played on a Friday for the first time. Layout was nice but the conditions of the course were not great. Pace of play was slow for first 9 holes until we hit the back 9
Poor choices
Carts are NOT equipped with windshields nor clubs rain cover. While dealing with rain is bad enough, having rain constantly soaking your face, your clubs, and your seat is absolutely inexcusable and intolerable. This county course charges inflated prices and yet lacks basic amenities for a golf course and expected equipment.
Cost
Only disappointing things were not being able to use $ promo to reduce the price and came across an impatient twosome. Seemed to be a lot of people playing in pairs rather than being combined as fours.
Historic but average course
Played here on several occasions in the past, but still not taken off my feet. Because of the history behind the course, I would’ve expected more from the city/county for upkeep. Greens were slow, but nice. Course is just average but has potential good or great.
