About
Located only minutes away from downtown Tampa, Rogers Park Golf Course offers easy access to Tampa International Airport and also the beautiful beaches of Tampa Bay. Although it has a convenient location near many attractions, it is secluded from the noise of busy streets and neighborhoods since the Hillsborough River almost completely surrounds it. The scenic golf course has water hazards coming into play on several holes and there are sand bunkers throughout. In addition to the course, Rogers Park is known for their extensive practice facilities. They boast of having one of Tampa's finest driving ranges and their three-hole course provides excellent short game practice.

Rogers Park Review
Everything was very good at this course. I feel the greens were a little bit slow, but still very good to play it.
Friendly and value
Overall excellent value for you money, staff is fantastic and one of the best chicken salad sandwiches.
Rogers is a hidden gem
The historic Rogers Park Golf Course is one of the 3 city of Tampa municipal golf courses, managed by the Tampa Sports Authority. It’s centrally located in Tampa, and there are no houses lining the course. It offers some slightly tricky tee shots, mainly on the back 9, where there are 4 dogleg holes. Hole #1 is a straightforward par 5, but #2 is a challenging par 4, with a green that slopes heavily from right to left. One of the most challenging holes is the par 3 #12, with an elevated, smaller green, which can play up to about 200 yards depending on tee box placements. Watch out for the huge gators in the many ponds on the back 9 also. Friendly staff, extremely laid back vibe, and a lot of nature in the middle of Tampa. Golf snobs might turn up their nose at Rogers, but I think it’s a great place to spend 4 hours chasing a little white ball around the golf course.
Fun Course
Good course for the average golfer. Greens were in decent shape and the pace of play was nice.
Nice local feel course
Nice course. Has a nice local feel. Course is tricky. Front 9 straight forward. Back 9 a beast with lots of water and narrow approaches. Good pace , course in nice conditions for winter golf. A must play!!
Nice course
The course was challenging especially if you have never played there before. The fairways and greens were in good shape given the time of the year. I would play this course again given the chance n
Great Vaule
This course quality was pretty good for the cost. Greens rolled fairly well. Fairways were nice most of the time. Course staff were a little curt and a little disorganized but no big deal. All in all a good experience.
Rogers Park
Pace of play was excellent, course was in the best condition we’ve seen it in quite sometime. Obviously a lot of work has been put into the course. Will definitely be returning.
Nice wide open layout. Great city course.
First time playing this city course and very impressed with the layout. Fairways are generous and nice size greens. Enjoyed a bucket of balls at the driving range before play.
