About
Located only minutes away from downtown Tampa, Rogers Park Golf Course offers easy access to Tampa International Airport and also the beautiful beaches of Tampa Bay. Although it has a convenient location near many attractions, it is secluded from the noise of busy streets and neighborhoods since the Hillsborough River almost completely surrounds it. The scenic golf course has water hazards coming into play on several holes and there are sand bunkers throughout. In addition to the course, Rogers Park is known for their extensive practice facilities. They boast of having one of Tampa's finest driving ranges and their three-hole course provides excellent short game practice.

Bad conditions, even worse pace
Got stuck behind a group of 6 as a single, who cut me off on 10 instead of teeing of on 1. It was miserable, but then they decided to play baseball on the 18th green together (not exaggerating unfortunately). If you’ve played Rogers Parks before, I’m sure that isn’t to hard to believe. I’ve never once seen a starter or ranger here, there’s usually a pile up on the first tee, and the pace never gets bette. The conditions don’t make any of the other issues better either. Carts are falling apart (they recently covered ALL of the rotted seat cushions with a piece of spandex), carts paths are the worse in Hillsborough County, tee boxes are uneven and full of dirt. Fairways in rough shape and the rough…it’s rough.. I waited for a few days without rain, but for some reason this course just never gets better. Sad to write since I live around the corner and the course could be 100 times better…especially for 30-40$ a round…do better Tampa Sports Authority

Greens and rough have not been attended to in weeks. It was like putting on a shaggy carpet.

The course was in good condition for a public city/county course. But to pay $38 for mid summer for a course that is in very similar condition to others that is $20-25 is a little outrageous. No starter and we had two older women in front of us that would hit 4 out of the tee box, then 4 from the fairway (they would only hit it about 10 yards too btw) and resulted in a 5 and half hour round on a course that isn’t very difficult that should have only been a 3.5 hour round. But no ranger or start to fix the problem. Won’t be driving 45 mins to play here again thats for sure.
Hidden gem
Very nice course interesting layout needs a little work on some fairways and tee boxes great day enjoy the round.
Other than the ruff not being cut, understandable because of the amount of rain, course was in decent shape. Cart path only on hole number one. Greens we’re ok. Nothing to brag about. Pace of play was great. Played at 1:15. Will play again for sure.
Great test!
Great golf course in the best shape in years!! The only drawback was the clown who checked us in, at least he was equally rude to three of our foursome. The 4th player never went in the pro shop. Having said that, I highly recommend Roger's Park to all golfers...just send (1) person to check in on Tuesday morning.

Course was decent. Good for the value it was being offered. Greens were still getting work done. Rough was brutal, although it could be because of the rain and storms we’ve had. Golf pro was nice in the pro shop. Had a guy hitting all over us and ended up playing right through, without even asking or saying he was going to. I mean he was literally hitting right on top of us.
Other than that, it was fine. Good value for the course.
