About
Located only minutes away from downtown Tampa, Rogers Park Golf Course offers easy access to Tampa International Airport and also the beautiful beaches of Tampa Bay. Although it has a convenient location near many attractions, it is secluded from the noise of busy streets and neighborhoods since the Hillsborough River almost completely surrounds it. The scenic golf course has water hazards coming into play on several holes and there are sand bunkers throughout. In addition to the course, Rogers Park is known for their extensive practice facilities. They boast of having one of Tampa's finest driving ranges and their three-hole course provides excellent short game practice.

Used to be good. Overall just bad.
We had 8:20am tee time. Could not check in and get cart till 15 min before tee time. Had to get range balls and walk over to the range to then walk back to the clubhouse to check and get a cart. Lady behind counter says 15 min is to not bunch up the range and course. 2 groups on tee box and 3 people on the range at 7:45am. So busy. Best part we noticed when we were on hole 12 that a group of 8 people were teeing off on 10. That's a great way to pass off everyone. Thank God we got out before that stupidity. Will never return even though I shot 76 and had a great round. My friends who was their 1st time were confused and disappointed.
Just ok
This was a decent course. Layout was fine. Older course that just needs some TLC. All greens are sand based and can change the direction of your putts.
Greens Aeriated
Greens were aeriated and covered with sand. Don't remember seeing an advisory to that condition when I booked the round. Made putting very difficult.
Tees were in poor shape.
Needs Staff
A starter and a ranger would do amazing things for this course. To me this is a hidden gem. But, the lack of starter and ranger can make this a horrible experience.
Today it took me 4 hours and 10 minutes to play. I heard "four" called out at least a dozen times. It was a bit of the wild west out there.
With just 2 additional staff at busy times this would change immediately.
Rogers park
Have played this course many times. Was very disappointed in the fairways. Very dry and compacted. Course is normally in better condition. The Greens were slightly above average and fast.
Horrible tee boxes
The tee boxes look like San traps.
The greens are fun and nice fairways but when you teeing off in sand it’s hard to recover.
Worst I've seen the course
Course is in really bad shape and I'm sure that is not helped by carts being driven across par 3s and directly up to the greens. Pace of play was miserable. Five-somes being allowed onto the course and taking up to 25 minutes per hole with no ranger to move pace of play along. Quite a shame because this used to be an enjoyable course. Definitely recommend spending your money and time at other local courses.
Day on the Park
Just starting gold and Rogers Park was such a fun course to break in on. I am schedule again very soon...looking forward!
Nice Course. Bad customer service.
I waited in line 10 minutes to check in because of the rule about not checking in until 15 minutes before tee time. Ended up late for my tee time.
Etiquette on the course is non existent.
A starter and a ranger would do amazing things for your ability to push more golfers through without backing up and providing poor service.
Carts need work.
