Kiskiack Golf Club

Arrived early for tee time and the course had been closed for course maintenance. The starter explained that the members who had tee times ahead of us would be teeing off first and was very friendly. He managed to get us off early. We were a twosome and although we could see the golfers ahead of us, we never waited at any tee nor were we pressed from behind. The course was undulating and the greens were the same, making it difficult for first time players. The course had seen some major rain storms just lately as could be witnessed by some wet spots in the sand traps and some erosion. However, the course was in excellent shape making for a very enjoyable round. Unfortunately, we only played 15 holes as the weather closed in and provided torrential rain. Any thought of finishing our game was squashed by the golf course closing as many fairways and low spots were flooded. I will certainly golf at this course again when I am in this area and I highly recommend this to every golfer.

Pleasantly surprised by the country club conditions. Greens are very fast.

There is a fair amount of water but not enough to kill the enjoyment for the average golfer.

Course knowledge does come into play especially off the 11th tee.

What I pleasant surprise to play here as the course is in the best shape it has been this year. Last time I played was at the end of May and the course had been aerated and it was in rough conditions. Looking forward to returning and playing there again in the near future.

Having never played here before, wasn't sure what to expect, except reading the reviews online. Definitely a place you'd have to play a few times before knowing where to hit the ball, but overall not too bad. I'd play here again and probably will. Would've been nice to speed up the round, just over 2.5 hours to play the front 9, even though the pace is set at 4:35

If you're in Williamsburg and can't get onto Kingsmill or National, this is a good alternate.

Felt compelled to leave a review after playing - Kiskiak is in amazing shape right now, the greens are pure as can be. Extremely pleasant surprise.

Great layout and design. Challenging, but fair. Good shots are rewarded and bad ones are punished.

Staff was very friendly.

Played the front with my wife and son-in-law in under two hours. Delicious hot dog special at the turn. Wind came up on 10 and the rain started at the par 3 11th. Finished the hole and headed back as the rain and wind whipped us. Rain check/refund needed for unplayed holes. Told by pro shop that 3rd party tee reservation needs to address since course didn't receive money directly from players.

Played here several times while staying in Williamsburg and will return.

I’ve played here several times, the greens are always true and quick. I really like the layout and enjoy the mix of holes.
