Kiskiack Golf Club

The staff really made the difference here. From the pro shop to the starter, everyone was friendly and helpful. My tee time confirmation had been messed up online due to DST not being taken into account and when I called the pro shop they immediately fixed the situation and gave me a choice of tee times to meet my needs. The course is well maintained and played as it is listed. There were both challenging holes and some that were easier to play, making the round comfortable and enjoyable.

While the course may have been wet from significant rainfall - it was a good experience playing here for the first time. Friendly staff. Very good pace of play. Will return

Have played a lot of courses in the area. This is one of my favorites and it was in the best condition this weekend.

Kiskiack golf course in Williamsburg is an amazing yet challenging course. My husband and I played it sbout a year or two ago and we just had ro play again on our visit to Williamsburg again.. The course was in pristine condition and each hole was easy to find. No complaints here.

Good layouit of course. Had a nice round with another good golfer. Saw a bald eagle on 18th with a dead fox and my playing partner sunk an eagle putt.

Fairways, tees in excellent condition. Bunkers needed work

First off, Kiskiack in not a 5 Star golf course, but I would rate it a 4.5. Outside of a couple of tee boxes, the course was in great shape with the greens being extremely puttable and true. 8 of us made the trip down from Pennsylvania and we like the course and the accommodating resident Pro, Nick Zanca. Nick and his staff are most helpful if you need help outside of the online booking window. This provides great relief when traveling from a distance where planning ahead of time is paramount (for me, anyways).

You should bring your own water bottles, though. They do have coolers outside the clubhouse and on the back nine restroom facility. You can fill your own receptacle as they also provide paper cups for point of service consumption. Bring bottled water or a large personal container. No coolers are technically not permitted.

There are no rakes on the course for sand traps. Each golf cart is outfitted with a rake, ball washer, and divot sand containers. Just remmeber to use the rake if you find your way into a trap.

My description of "MODERATE" Difficulty goes to what tee box of your choosing. The lengths are accommodating to everyone's level of play.

I recommend playing at Kiskiack if you happen to be in the Williamsburg area.

Interesting layout, some difficult traps, some water hazards, relatively wide fairways, would play again

Wasn’t sure about the course until after reading the reviews. Now very happy followed it. For a public course it was enjoyable and challenging all at once. If ever in the areas again playing golf this is on my list

Everyone at the course was courteous and helpful. The course layout was challenging yet not overly demanding. Greens were fast and rolled true. I will e coming back.

The layout was good and with challenging bunkers on the fairway and in front of the greens.

Pace is too slow. Must be improved!

Kiskiack is a fine golf course, well worth any golfer's time. Greens were true, and the fairways were fair. The only drawback to my round was due to rain earlier in the week, carts were restricted to the cart path which makes it tough on an old guy, but that is no reflection on the course. Hope to play this layout again if ever in the Williamsburg area.
