70 degree February day!!!
Nick & his staff were great helping get our group from Richmond off in threesomes to enjoy this bonus weather day mid-February! Greens were rolling true & fast. No cart restrictions helped us play in 4:30 hrs. Course was very playable & one of our favorites in the Williamsburg area. We’ll be back!

We had to start on the 19 th hole front nine too wet

Great course
It was middle of winter and heavy snow in other area.
I drove over two hours to play but mother nature was mad and windy which is not course issue. course was well maintained even though it was middle of winter. only thing negative was drainage in sand bunker. I had to give up some of my Pro-Vs due to water in sand.

Great golf course
Great golf course. NO HOUSES!! Good fund and different challenge levels depending on different tees.. Very senic. Walkable. Very friendly staff. Greens in great shape. Avoid sand traps as they need better consistent conditions. Varied elevations; left to right holes; right to left holes; straight holes. Couple of reachable par 5's. If in the area this should definitely be on your list to play

Solid Course Poor Pro-shop Treatment
Terrific layout with elevation changes that yielded numerous unique holes. Greens were modern and in great condition. Course is one of the better public courses in the Hampton Roads area.
My problem with the course was the poor nature of how I was treated in the pro shop. The people working at the time were quite rude, I can only hope they were having a bad day and it’s normally now like this.

Exceeded Expectations
The course had a good variety of lengths, doglegs and green undulations. And walking is a reasonable option.

Wish Richmond had a Kiskiack
This is a great public course with good rates. I've played it 3 or 4 times now and always enjoy it. Greens are interesting (too interesting when the new guy places the hole locations - but that's ok) and the elevation changes make for a lot of fun. Wide fairways but the angles into the green really matter.
Fun layout for a good rate (though catch basin placements are dubious on a few holes). Honestly if there was more public golf like this all of over America, it would be so good for the game.

Doug moore from ohio
I play this course every time I come down from Ohio in May and December.All the boxes are set up for a challenging shot into each green. I usually Play as a single, and can get a round done inless than 3 1/2 hours. But sometimes less than 3 hours. A 41/2 hour round comes when you come a crossed hi handicappers that think they are pros and will not let you play through. But I definitely recommend the course
