Ocotillo Golf Club - Blue/White

The course is in good condition. Paid $95 to wait 40 minutes to play the second 9. We were the first out on White and finished in 1:45. Approached the first gold tee and nobody was on it and the ranger was not there either. There was a group in the fairway so we started to tee up and the ranger showed up and told us they were already behind on starting groups on gold and it would be a wait. He apparently does not understand the point of a 6:30 AM tee time is to finish quickly. A 4.5 hour round is not acceptable if you are first out. No apologies or accommodations. The Covid greed and price gouging continues.

Good course but over priced. Doesn’t drain water well so it’s always swampy.

Course was extremely wet and fairways were nothing but mud. Needs some cooler weather I guess. Very bad right in front of greens

The course has gone downhill in the last year. Fairways were in terrible shape. Sand traps were not maintained.

The course was fun to play and had a lot of character. Water was everywhere but only went in 1 time so it’s fair. But the course was not upkept at all bunkers where mud and or haven’t been groomed in a long time. Greens were not in great shape they had been recently punched so I’ll give them a break on that. But then I checked course info it said the greens were going to be don’t in august. So was disappointed they didn’t let me know. I’d play it again if conditions improve

I went with two friends with varying skill levels. The course was in good shape for summer, and pace of play was fine. Quite a bit of water on the 18 we played but you could avoid most of it if careful. Very nice bar and grill and pro shop. I have played there before and will again.

I called the clubhouse prior to booking the round and asked if the greens were punched. I was told that one nine was punched but that nine was under maintenance and wasn't being played on currently. So we booked the round and payed $80+ and when we show up the back nine (blue course) greens were punched and sandy and in terrible condition.

The track is in a lot Better shape than it’s been in a long time ! Adios Mickelson, your group trash this course! Good job new superintendent

Wonderful course conditioning. Dirty carts, poor service from kerbside assistants. Very few food options and slow service. Great place to play but clearly has management issues and staff issues.
