Ocotillo Golf Club - Blue/White

I went with two friends with varying skill levels. The course was in good shape for summer, and pace of play was fine. Quite a bit of water on the 18 we played but you could avoid most of it if careful. Very nice bar and grill and pro shop. I have played there before and will again.

I called the clubhouse prior to booking the round and asked if the greens were punched. I was told that one nine was punched but that nine was under maintenance and wasn't being played on currently. So we booked the round and payed $80+ and when we show up the back nine (blue course) greens were punched and sandy and in terrible condition.

The track is in a lot Better shape than it’s been in a long time ! Adios Mickelson, your group trash this course! Good job new superintendent

Wonderful course conditioning. Dirty carts, poor service from kerbside assistants. Very few food options and slow service. Great place to play but clearly has management issues and staff issues.

I think there is more water than grass on the course…. Wouldn’t recommend if you’re looking for a fun round with the boys. Also the staff sucked… first guy had no idea how to use the computer system to check people in so the line in the pro shop was 15mins long, they didn’t provide any info about where to get practice balls or where the various courses started.

Mowers and machines were everywhere when we were playing the white course. Grass cuttings were al over the greens and fairways on the white course but were better on the back nine. The condition of the greens on the white were poor, just been Verticle cut and not sanded and we were not told and were charged full price. I love this course but do expect the conditions better and the mowing done ahead of all golfers
