Pueblo El Mirage Golf Club
About
The golf course at Pueblo El Mirage Golf Club is a challenging championship length course, but it is still suitable for all skill levels of golfer. The course features lush greens and long, rolling fairways. Lakes create water hazards that come into play on eleven holes. There are also strategically placed sand bunkers throughout the course. The signature hole is the par-4 15th hole, which calls for a start with a straight tee shot to a tight fairway and then a precise approach over water to a tiered green. The Pueblo El Mirage facility offers a driving range and putting green as well as a fully stocked pro shop.

Fuzzy Zelor Designed GC
Great course layout by Fuzzy Zellor but not in prime-time condition. Greens are puttable but narley , fairways and tee boxes need help too. Overall worth the price for a practice round.

I really like this course but the pace of play is ridiculous as you have people a fairway or two from where they should be do to bad shots.
Some greens are decent others are pretty bad, nothing like what I am used to playing. Totally different grass if you can call it that. Fairways were overall decent but definitely not manicured. Lots of dirt and or bare spots present. Most of the rough was hard packed dirt with some flattened grass. Even with these issues it could be a fun place to play. Now the real negative, five plus hours to play a round is totally unacceptable. Maybe just a lot of bad players playing on a Saturday. Some of the issues were players that think they can hit 300 yard drives when in reality they certainly can’t. No reason to wait for second or third shots when you can safely hit with out injuring the group in front of you. The spacing was not to tight, more so some of the players and a lack of any marshals. Overall the course is set up quite nicely.

Course in poor condition
Fairways were patchy. Some tees had no or very little grass. Putting surfaces were uneven. Putts did not roll smoothly. If you were of the fairway, you were on hard pan.
No one there to greet us. Someone just gave us a cart and showed us where tee #1 was.
Never bothered to go inside. Appears there were some kind of neighborhood indoor games going on.

Good value
Good value. Fairways in good shape. Spotty rough. Greens average speed and smooth enough.

Maintenance required
Although the layout of this course is ok, the course is in dire need of water, fertilizer and aeration! .

You get what you pay for
This course is not luxury and not in a great neighborhood. The greens were inconsistent but the fairways were decent. But for this time of year it's not bad for the money. If you're in a budget and in the area it's a fun little course with friendly fairways and lots of opportunities to score well.

For the most part we enjoyed playing the golf course. It had a nice layout and the greens were in good shape.

Very Disappointed
We have been coming to this course for over 20 years and haven’t been here for 4 years and were excited to get back to it. Unfortunately it was no where’s near the same experience we have had in the past. The check in lady told our golf partners that we had already checked in and had the keys to the carts. We weren’t even there yet. Then the restaurant was not open and we have had many good meals there in the past. The starter was very friendly and got us off on time. However after that major chaos ensued on the course, people were criss crossing on the next two holes, with no Marshall in site. Waited on every hole as the group in front thought they needed to wait till the group in front of them was on every green. The greens are pathetic No roll to them what so ever, like playing plinko. One tee box for ladies was more of a sand pit. On course washrooms have been updated nicely. We will not be back however anytime soon.

No Bueno
4 hours and only finished 9 holes. I guess there always has to be one golf course at the bottom of my play list. Pueblo El Mirage is just that, number one, if you’re counting from the bottom 🥳

Greens are burnt, fairways are thin, and course is over used.
