Pueblo El Mirage Golf Club
About
The golf course at Pueblo El Mirage Golf Club is a challenging championship length course, but it is still suitable for all skill levels of golfer. The course features lush greens and long, rolling fairways. Lakes create water hazards that come into play on eleven holes. There are also strategically placed sand bunkers throughout the course. The signature hole is the par-4 15th hole, which calls for a start with a straight tee shot to a tight fairway and then a precise approach over water to a tiered green. The Pueblo El Mirage facility offers a driving range and putting green as well as a fully stocked pro shop.

Wet Day/2 Front 9s
We had to wait a little to start, and there were still some scattered showers, but the front 9 drained really well, and we didn't mind not being able to play the back circuit. The buyers were still a little soupy, but not unplayable.
Poor condition
I generally like playing this course -- it is a fun track and the price is right. But the course is in very poor condition right now. The greens in particular -- its like putting on a shag rug on which you just spilled a bunch of gravel . Will play there again, but not sure how soon.

Course has not had much care put into it. It needs water and mowing.

Bar closed
After the round, we would have enjoyed a nice cold adult beverage, but the bar was closed. They had beers behind the pro shop, but not the same.

Course is Thirsty
Well, let's start with saying, this is the best deal In town right now.. It's rare. You will get a good lie once you hit your drive or second shot unless you're lucky to land on that little patch of grass. However, it's. Great place to practice your game so, I recommend it, I also recommend bringing your own water or you'll have memories from back in the day when you drank out of a garden hose .

My Home Course
This place is a good drive and a seven iron from my front door. The prices, especially online, and the proximity make this my "any afternoon or free morning" favorite. It's a nice course, and they're always working on it.

Played this course as it was in between my house and where i needed to be in the afternoon. Staff and patrons were very friendly and helpful. The mowers even shut off their machines when you were putting or teeing off, do3 always get that at the upscale courses.
The layout and holes were fun. The course just needs some money put into maintenance.

First Of July Playdate
Course was as expected. Greens were a bit better than anticipated, bumpy and some sparseness but overall good for July 1 in Arizona.
Cashier was very good . Not sure if he has pro shop training but he was very good. Better than most , seemed like he had pro shop training and cares what he's doing. A pleasure to have him take care of me.

What happened?
Things were starting to look up but the course was in rough shape! Fairway grass was way too long , greens have some fungus eating them, tee boxes were beaten up pretty bad. Lower the price or repair this course.

My wife and I generally like playing this course. But today the course was very dry and the greens were in poor condition. You couldn't get a decent roll on the greens because the ball would bounce several times. I know it is summer here and hard for maintenance to keep up with the hot weather. There are other course's around for similar rates and are in better condition.
