Pueblo El Mirage Golf Club
About
The golf course at Pueblo El Mirage Golf Club is a challenging championship length course, but it is still suitable for all skill levels of golfer. The course features lush greens and long, rolling fairways. Lakes create water hazards that come into play on eleven holes. There are also strategically placed sand bunkers throughout the course. The signature hole is the par-4 15th hole, which calls for a start with a straight tee shot to a tight fairway and then a precise approach over water to a tiered green. The Pueblo El Mirage facility offers a driving range and putting green as well as a fully stocked pro shop.

The course was in very good condition. Pace of play was good. Checkin and pro shop staff were courteous. Only difficulty was getting the golf cart brake set on an incline.

Good course layout and staff but in poor shape
Have always liked the somewhat challenging layout but the course was in poor condition. Muddy and pools of water near and on some fairways and does not appear to have been overseeded. Missing grass on most tee boxes, some fairway areas, lots of the rough and even some green areas. A real shame as a good variety of holes (water on 13?) and a pleasurable, accommodative staff.

Needs Grass
Grass was to short when there was grass. Some of the putting greens are dead.

Course conditions were brutal. Fairways were hard and greens were burnt out already. Course should never be this bad in February. Plus bar and restaurant closed on a Sunday afternoon.

It’s a shame.
I’ve played here once before long time ago and the course used to be in good shape, right now it looks like it should in August.
Hard as a rock, dried out, patchy throughout, greens hard, greens in bad shape and no bar open.
Staff in the shop and the cart barn area were polite and friendly as was Bobby the starter.

Don't waste your money
I payed $42 to play this golf course. The greens were brown and the grass was dead. Some holes you were putting on just plain dirt.. The tee boxes all had dead grass and un even. This had to be the worst golf course I ever had played and I jave been playing golf for over 30 years. I wish I took pictures of this but didn't want to waste the space on my phone

This course could be great, but it needs to be watered. Everything is hard and fast.

No idea how in ‘early spring’ a golf course can be in such poor shape , gravel on greens, tee boxes with no grass. It’s almost like they are trying to fight Mother Nature! Sad!

You get what you pay for.
We were looking for a moderately priced course to spend a pleasant Friday afternoon. Unfortunately, the only good thing was that it was moderately priced - but it was dry as a bone and so slow, we quit after 11 when there were 3 groups on the next tee.
The website makes the course look good, but the only thing looking good is the website - certainly not the golf course.
