Nestled within Fountain Hills, the course at the Desert Canyon Golf Club offers a championship course with a variety of elevation changes with views canyon and mountain views. It is a desert-style course with some elevated tees and open fairways that play tight with a few doglegs. Water bunkers come into play on a few holes as well as numerous well-positioned sand bunkers. From nearly every hole on the golf course, views of the signature fountain in Fountain Hills, which is the world's tallest fountain at 550 feet, can be seen.

Great Scenery During a Challenging Round

Always liked this course. Never too pricey and always in good shape. Many elevations to deal with but it makes the surrounding mountain scenery spectacular. Pace is variable. Some tight fairways and undulating greens. Have a beer on the patio after a fun round!

The course was in perfect shape. Was cart path only, which put my golf buddy in a difficult situation, but he played thru it.

No cart person to serve us at any time.

Water jugs, but no cups???

Service certainly could have been better.

Great golf wonderful views

All I ca say is get ready while the yardage is misleading this track is fun and very rewarding IF and I do IF YOU HIT THE SHOT REQUIRED don’t attempt to cut all corners you see for you could pay a price! Hit the ball online and get ready to shot a good score for me today was 73 and I left some shots out in the course! Just a wonderful and breathtaking golf course experience and wonderful staff! Ps the chicken Parmesan is GREAT

Great Course/fairways good condition

Loved the course. Everything green and in good condition except the greens were pretty slow. In general a fun course to play. Relatively wide fairways. I wouldn't go into the sticks here after your ball. Rattlesnake country. Staff accommodating and pleasant. Enjoyed it.

A day outside

the course was dry, the golf cart quite on the first hole and we called to get it replaced, we waited 10 minutes then it started again. We had no idea if the cart got close to the green it would quite. So we played several holes till we figured out what the problem was. No one gave us instructions. No one called us back to explain why our cart kept quiting. It was a mess.

I think they are probably doing the best they can under the crrent pandemic.

BUT, there are many other courses one can opt to play for less in much better shape. Also, it was the only course that had a premium for having a single cart.!!
