Nestled within Fountain Hills, the course at the Desert Canyon Golf Club offers a championship course with a variety of elevation changes with views canyon and mountain views. It is a desert-style course with some elevated tees and open fairways that play tight with a few doglegs. Water bunkers come into play on a few holes as well as numerous well-positioned sand bunkers. From nearly every hole on the golf course, views of the signature fountain in Fountain Hills, which is the world's tallest fountain at 550 feet, can be seen.

Ball washers and cold water on the course ... tight fairways, but very fair to play and sand in the bunkers!!! Yay!

Summer conditions, but very playable
Definite sparseness of grass cover in numerous fairways but the greens and tees were pretty decent yet.
Lots of slopes with which to contend .The cart was clean, the cooler was full of fresh ice and the GPS worked flawlessly. Staff was good.

Great course to play
Great course to play however they were aerating the fairways, even still it was an enjoyable game. The staff is very friendly, and the views are stunning. A bit of a drive from north Scottsdale but well worth it.

The DESERT is winning!!
Course layout is interesting. However, fairways are pretty poor, mostly dirt and extremely dry. Three to four holes were aerated but we were not advised. Thus the ball did not roll at all in the fairways.
Greens were fair but extremely slow. No refreshment cart offered when the temp was 109 all day.
Don't pay too much to play at this time. Lots of other courses around for less money and better condition.
