I was supposed to play this course last year, shipped my clubs there and got rained out. Went to pick up my clubs and the staff was very unfriendly. I chalked it up to the rain and a bad day. Returned this year and discovered the same cranky staff...too early in the season for that. Anyway, the course played as I expected and read. Lots of houses on the tight but playable fairways. Greens rolled a little slow for me but were still challenging. The yardage was off on the cart GPS and cart guy said “we need to reset that”....not sure what that was about. Conditions were good and the course is playable with nice elevations and few blind shots. Good course and met my expectations.

Got a terrific Hot Deal on Golf Now to take the bite out of the winter rates. I live two minutes from the course and I've never seen it in better condition. Lush fairways and soft greens. The sand traps, generally a problem in the Valley (concrete sand, no sand) were spectacular. Well maintained, pristine; for once I didn't mind being bunkered. So plaudits to the greenskeeper and his crew. The layout is rolling, with beautiful views, especially #16 and #18.

Greens and fairways were decent shape but this is a very short and relatively boring course. If you hit your driver 240 there are many holes where it will stay in the bag. If you are a short hitter or elderly where your distance is limited this could be a good course for you.

Great day, course was is in really nice shape. The greens were a little firm and had a little sand but overall rolled well.

Absolutely gorgeous day. A minor frost delay but reasonable pace of play once we got going. Great course conditions. Beautiful views and lots of coyote sightings.

We were delayed after being under a frost delay at a previous course and the staff was exceptional in making every accommodation possible in allowing us to play as many holes as possible. All of this was done in making us feel special when a lot of staff at other courses would have made us feel like we were putting them out.

Great course with very tricky greens. Not long but still very challenging. The staff were great right from the guest services that get your cart loaded to the starter that gives you an information filled (tips) talk before your tee off. The grounds crew have the course in immaculate shape from tee boxes to greens. The greens were fast and roll true.... a real pleasure to play on. The elevation changes were the best part with vistas that will just take your breath away...... you will need to re-focus on your golf shot or you can get into plenty of trouble. We played on a cooler day and would have liked to seen the speed of play a little faster as we waited on every tee box. We play courses all over the Phoenix area when we come to escape the cold Saskatchewan winters and have found a new favourite in Desert Canyon.

I highly recommended playing, bring your putting stroke.

Course was in good shape but the pins were placed so you were 3 putting. For example, all 4 of us were on a green and putted our balls to the pin. All reached the pin but all rolled back over 6 feet. It’s a short course and most likely have these greens to offset for the short length.

Beautiful weather to play a beautiful course with great scenary!

Wonderful course. Well maintained. 4 hour 5 minute pace of play. Layout is awesome with lots of elevation changes. Play the tips if you are 10 hcp or better
