About
Nestled within Fountain Hills, the course at the Desert Canyon Golf Club offers a championship course with a variety of elevation changes with views canyon and mountain views. It is a desert-style course with some elevated tees and open fairways that play tight with a few doglegs. Water bunkers come into play on a few holes as well as numerous well-positioned sand bunkers. From nearly every hole on the golf course, views of the signature fountain in Fountain Hills, which is the world's tallest fountain at 550 feet, can be seen.

Was shaved down for winter seeding
There was really no grass as everything was shaved down to the dirt. I understand why, but @message while booking would have had us choose a different course.
Beautiful
This was our number one course of our trip. The layout of this course was excellent and the views were amazing. We throughly enjoyed our round and everyone was so friendly and outgoing. The Gentleman who was the starter was outstanding.
Great golf day!
Had an awesome time from beginning to end. I think if you play this course frequently you would get to know where your ball should be hit and learn the greens.

The course was in excellent condition! Play it for the first time but plan to come back for future rounds!

Enjoyable
Like all area courses, it showed signs of excessive heat, but this was a fun course. The staff, especially Gerard, was very helpful and gave a few tips that were helpful.
Love this course
I think this is one of the coolest courses in Scottsdale, especially in the summer. The first hole is my favorite opening hole on any course. They do have some hikes that feel like they're forced into a spot because they lack space, but for $65 in the summer I can forgive that. The conditions are excellent year round, and in the summer you can find a good grass spot nearby if you're in a burnt area.
My favorite thing about this course is how they use downhil AND uphill holes... so many of these courses like to put 4 par 3s that are all 50' downhil, and that's cute, but hit the green on #2 or #12 if you really think you're good at golf.
Greens are always pure, but pay attention to the valley. If it weren't for 5, 6, 7 & 8 this could be top 10 in the valley.
Summer
This course is shorter than most but fun! Every hole requires a different strategy. The course was in great shape for mid-July, and the staff was very friendly.
Sweet Litte course!
Great course for folks visiting or living in AZ. I just moved to Arizona and this course has a feel of any home course out there! Staff was cool and pace of play wasn't to bad for a weekend 1010a time. If you're 50 to 70 you will enjoy hitting clubs into the green like you did 10 years back! Enjoy and save me a birdie or 2
Course is in Great Shape
I enjoyed playing for the first time. The course is in very good shape with fairways being the best i saw in the area. Greens were very slick and seemed very dry. Staff was all very friendly and organized. Automated mowers seem to work really well.
Beautiful and well maintained.
Course was beautiful. Everyone was pleasant and we enjoyed our round.
